Wyck

Myfatherwasgone, claiming he had to go somewhere on business, but I knew that was a lie. Once I had Karter make up something to get the dinner canceled, he left in a hurry, claiming it was due to business.

“I’m onto you, old man, and once I shake down every rat helping you succeed, you will be next.” I vow.

Making my way downstairs, I hit Onyx up.

He picks up, saying, “What up, creeper?”

“Your mother doesn’t think I’m a creeper.” I laugh.

“Yeah, that’s because I don’t have one, you fuck face.” He grunts.

“No, I’m the one that doesn’t have one.” We joke around like this because what else are we supposed to do because we’re motherless… Cry?

“Thanks to daddy dearest, now you do.” He chuckles. Normally that would piss me off, but I let it slide because he is telling the truth.

“Whatever. Are you ready to party?”

“Fuckin’ A!”

“Good, and did you make sure our guest of honor will be ready when we are?” No need in whispering since I’m the only one home. Or so I thought. I hear a voice as a door closes at the far end of the hallway.

“Yup, everything is all good.” I hear him say, but I’m not really paying attention. I’m more focused on who the hell else is in the house with me.

Walking down the hallway, I stop in front of my father’s door and listen.

“It seems tonight just might be looking up after all.” I hear a very alluring voice on the other side of the door say. I want so badly to see what the fuss about this woman is, but there’s no time. It’s already eight at night, and if things are to be on schedule, I need to get out of here.

“Don’t worry, dear step-mother, when we finally meet, I will make your life a living hell.” I vow, turning away from the door and heading back to my room to grab a few things. I pick up my wallet and phone off the nightstand and deposit them both into my slacks. Heading to my walk-in closet, I grab two guns and a knife. I know I won’t need them, but I take them as an extra security measure.

I slip on my jacket to conceal my weapons and head out of my room when I hear the soft click of the front door. Pulling out my phone, I open up the grid lock app that connects to the security cameras hoping to get a glimpse of the woman in question, but all I see is her headlights come on as she pulls out of the garage and leaves.

“Good riddance.” I take the steps one at a time and head to the garage myself. “Shit, I forgot the manilla folder.” I race back upstairs, grab it off my desk, and really head out tomygarage this time.

I stop on my way down the stairs and open the folder. Inside, there are multiple images of a girl waiting outside the warehouse on Gilda street. She has long dark hair, silvery gray eyes, a nice tan, with the whole mousy yet sexy lab student going on. She looks familiar, no, it couldn’t be. Flipping through more, I see her meet up with Court, a fucking twat that goes to school with us. The next image shows them sharing a kiss, before she goes inside the warehouse.

Interesting, I wonder what all this means. The next several images show her going home. It seems like she lives alone.

Looks like Niko and Cairo were able to find out more than I asked for. The next couple of pages give me her name, address, and her family info. I grin knowing this will be useful later. But it’s the next set of photos that’s the true prize.

My blood begins to boil as I look at Court’s ugly mug, entering and exiting the warehouse. To know that he was there, seeing our production, and spilling our secrets to the enemies makes me want to kill him without asking any fucking questions. The Carmichaels have always been our enemy but this puts them on top of my shit list. Gerald Carmichael might have power but I can’t let this go unanswered. Court will pay with blood and his father might be next.

I’ll sit on this info until it’s time to reveal one of the culprits trying to bring us down. I suspected it was a woman by the shape of her, but I wanted to be wrong. I wanted it to be Court more than I wanted to take my next breath. Oh well, women make their own choices and pay the price the same as men in this game we play. My chance to bring vengeance to Court won’t be far behind.

Carrying on to my destination, I make it downstairs. “Hmmm, which one shall I take tonight?” I wonder, admiring my collection of new and old cars. I love vintage vehicles and have four of them sitting in my garage. “I choose you.” I say, pointing to my black on black Porsche Cayman.

Clicking the key fob to disalarm it, I open the door and slide in. The leather is cool to the touch and calms down some of the excitement about tonight, but it doesn’t dull the fact that I haven’t seen my Little Fox in three years.

These parties are all the same, we find new and worthy recruits, send them out to do things that any normal, sane person wouldn’t do, and we fuck any girl that wants to say she slept with a Devil for the night. I’ve fucked my share of women, but it hasn’t been the same since my sexcapade with my dirty, little girl.

Ever since her, I haven’t been able to fuck a woman using their pussy. Now, I only use their mouth or ass. I can’t bring myself to share what we shared that night with another woman that isn’t her. I don’t know why after all this time, I still expect her to show up. It’s been three fucking years, and I’m acting like a love sick, fucking puppy.

“No more!” I yell, speeding off into the night, letting the cold air whip against my face as I head to the party. Tonight is the night I fuck who I want using every hole she has to offer. I’ll dull my senses with alcohol if need be, but I can’t let my guard down. My brothers depend on me.

As I pull down Baker’s Field Road and head to the mill that we turned into party central and renamed Devils’ Playground, I get into full Devil mode. It’s too early for anyone to be there, so I pass it up and head to the house. Nobody is allowed but the guys and the staff, unless we bring you here to enjoy a party where we are the only attendees. So, I don’t worry about putting on my mask… yet.

Every year we host these parties, everyone is required to wear a mask. Why? Because we aren’t ready to reveal ourselves to the world yet. We are the faceless men of The Devils of Cliffside, and we have to make sure we can trust the people we let in. Trust is everything when it comes to me and my crew.
