“Are you sure that’s all you're preparing for?” He giggles.
“Yeah.” I answer as I feel heat rise up my cheeks and begin to paint them red.
“Then why are you blushing like that?”
“Get out of here!” I shout, and he disappears. “I will call you back later.” I yell out to him. I need to compose myself. Nothing is ever perfect, but this is the closest I’m going to get to it. I start moving things around and pulling out what I need. After about fifteen minutes, I’m done.
“Now, all I have to do is wait.” I say to myself as I take a seat and wait for Aryas to arrive.
Chapter Six
Tiberius
Goddess!Thatlittleshe-deviltasted Heavenly. The way her sweet juices coated my tongue as they slid down my throat is something I won’t be forgetting any time soon. I can’t let this happen again because once I find her, there will be no more of this between us. Until darkness lets me see where I go every time I visit her, I will fuck her as often as I like. That thought has me smiling from ear to ear like a Cheshire cat.
“I’ll give her the space she thinks she needs, but I know that sweet, little pussy of hers will be ready and wet for me when I decide to return to her.” I chuckle, and it’s downright evil. “I’m coming for you, Luna Nera. My little one.”
Chapter Seven
Aryas
Ihavetorememberthat tonight is all about finding out how Tiberius’s parents died. The Ministry of Order are the people I work for, and they put me in this position to find out what really happened to them. No one knows who I truly am, and I’ve done a swell job at hiding it from them. I may play the sneaky part, but I am not someone to take lightly. Out of the seven deadly sins, I am Wrath, and it is far time these Messengers were knocked down off their high horse.
During their reign, they rule over seven different realms, training assassins to kill anyone that threatens to cut them down. While I am pretending to be a Messenger, I, too, was trained to be a deadly assassin. When the time is right, they will feel my wrath across the very realms they have a hold over.
With Moon’s help, I should get the answers I need. I did what needed to be done to find out who she was, with my mother’s help of course, but I had no intention of her having a hold on me the way she does. I needed a necromancer to summon the dead King and Queen so I could finally understand what took place moments before I arrived. I’m not proud to say I was there after what happened to them took place and had I arrived mere moments earlier, things would be different.
What is it about this girl that made me claim her in the waiting room of a morgue? I’m one hundred precent positive if her ghostly friend wouldn’t have showed up, I would have fucked her right there on that nasty, cold linoluem floor. I guess I should thank him the next time I see him.
Shutting off the water from my steamy, hot shower, I get out, head to my bedroom, and find something to wear. I don’t bother with a towel around my waist or to tie up my wet, white, shoulder-length hair since no one else is here. I grab my clothes from the closet and throw everything on the bed except my undershirt. Walking my buns of steel over to my dresser, I grab a pair of briefs and head to the bathroom. Standing at the vanity, I look at myself in the mirror and have to wonder, why such a beautiful, reserved girl such as herself would allow someone like me to grope her the way I did? There has to be a logical explanation for my actions where she is concerned.
I grab a comb and begin to untangle my hair, exposing my long, pointy ears. She hasn’t seen these yet, and I wonder how she will react to them. Once it’s untangled, I snap my fingers, and it’s bone dry, shining as it fans my high cheeks while covering my ears again. I’ll show them off some other time.
Shaving is a Human thing that I don’t really need to do but find myself picking up my razor and swiping it across my face. Naturally, my skin is blemish and hair free, but shaving is a mundane task that has yet to be broken.
I don’t bother with after shave because it does nothing for me. Picking up my favorite cologne, Armani, I spray it across my body, basking in the smell I’ve come to love. Three squirts should be enough. Not too much, but certainly not too little.
Once I’m done, I walk back into my room and get dressed. Fifteen minutes later, I’m grabbing my keys and heading out the door. I didn’t get her address yesterday, but then again, I don’t really need it.
It doesn’t take me long to get there, but it does take me a minute to figure out it’s not really what her home looks like.
I must say, this girl either knows some powerful Witches or she is one herself, because the wards she has around this place along with the disguise she has set up had me almost overlooking it. Almost. The only thing I see is what looks like a hut, but my eyes can see beyond that. As I mentally tear down one of her barriers, I see that it appears to be a run-down mess. Why would a woman like her feel the need to live in a house like this?
When she finds out I broke through one of her barriers while sitting in my car, she will no doubt be out for blood. I’m not ready to cross that bridge or any other one where she is concerned.
First, I need to find out the truth about Tiberius’s parents, and then, maybe we can play. That’s the last thought I have right before I exit my Audi and prepare to knock on the door.
She opens it before I can even lift my hand to make contact.
“Aryas.” She sighs, and it takes everything in me not to grab her face and kiss her senseless.
“Juniper. You look… Beautiful.” I gush and have to contain myself from laughing at that ridiculous hat she has on top of her head.
“It’s okay, you can laugh. I wore it just for you and for laughs.” She chuckles. “Please, come in.” She says, ushering me inside.
“Juniper, I have to ask, are you hiding from someone?” I need to know why she’s gone through all these measures to stay off the grid.
“Why does it matter to you?” There’s that feistiness I’m starting to like.
