“Give me your release, princess. It belongs to me,” I hiss.

I slam into her over and over reaching between us and rubbing her clit.

“Fuck,” she screams.

“That’s right, let go,” I groan, feeling my balls tighten.

She screams as her orgasm rips through her and I almost lose it at the sight.

“Corbin,” she whispers, lifting her eyes to mine.

I don’t know what the fuck happens in that moment but my release crashes over me as we keep eye contact. The pleasure of my orgasm is almost as great as the emotions I am feeling as I stare into her soul.

“Leah,” I whisper, leaning forward and pressing my lips to hers.

After a slow kiss, full of as much emotion as I’m feeling, I pull away.

A tear is running down her cheek and I lean forward and lick it away before searching her watery eyes.

“What’s wrong?” I ask.

She smiles and rests her hand on my cheek. “Do you feel this, Corbin? Because I’ve never felt anything like what just happened.”

I swallow and nod as I stare into her brown eyes. “I feel it, Leah,” I whisper.

She wraps her arms around me and we both hold each other, trying to figure out what exactly is happening between us.

Whatever it is, I don’t want it to end.

Chapter 11

Leah

“Hey,” Fay says, sitting down on the couch of my waiting room.

“Hey, what’s up?” I ask, writing down an appointment for next month.

She sighs and I look over at her and raise an eyebrow.

“I’m tired of going home to an empty apartment. You and Arya are never home anymore,” she says, lifting a shoulder.

I move out from behind the receptionist station and sit next to her on the couch. “We’re never home together except for Sunday,” I say, smiling.

“Yeah, but you haven’t even been coming home.” She looks at me and raises an eyebrow. “Where have you been staying?”

Fuck. I hadn’t even considered what they would think about me not coming home. I’ve been staying at Corbin’s. It’s not even because I’m too tired to leave, it’s because I don’t want to leave. Something is happening between us and I like it. I like it a lot.

We’re enjoying being together. It’s not just the earth-shattering sex either. We talk, laugh, and share personal things. It’s something I look forward to at the end of each night.

It’s also something that is just between us. Fay and Arya don’t need to know anything. I’m not ready to let them in. I’m not sure I ever will be because I have no idea what will happen after we present this design.

The thought alone makes my chest squeeze.

Fay clears her throat and I quickly snap out of my thoughts. I smile as I grab her hand, giving it a tight squeeze. “I’ve been staying at Corbin’s.”

“I fucking knew it,” she yells, shaking her head.

I laugh and turn to face her. “Relax. I stay in his guest room. Sometimes I’m just too exhausted to make it home after working all day and then focusing on the design. He’s gone before I even wake up, but I’ll come home tonight. I didn’t realize you were missing me,” I say, tossing her a wink.
