“So does he,” I add. “What happened to you this morning?”

Reid wasn’t the only one who flaked out on me when we usually leave to go to the gym together.

He makes a face. “Daniela.”

“She was callingagain?”

“More like showing up at my door and expecting to spend the night.”

“Fuck.” I wince. “What happened?”

“I sent her on her way is what happened, and I did something I should have done years ago… I blocked her number. I hit the gym early this morning, but I’m still as pissed at her as I was last night. Sorry, I should have told you, but I left my phone in my room. Didn’t want it anywhere near me, to be honest.”

“Want to blow off class and fool around in the locker room?” Reid asks Tobie, distracting me from my conversation with Javier.

“No.”

“The library? It’s pretty quiet.”

She presses her palms flat to his chest. “I am not?—”

Reid bends his head and whispers in her ear.

“No,” she says, blushing. But her denial doesn’t hit like before. “We can’t do that…”

Reid whispers some more.

I nudge Javier, curious about what Reid is whispering that’s having such an effect on her. “What do you think he’s saying?”

“No clue, but I’d kill to know what it is,” he murmurs.

“So?” Reid lifts a brow.

“We can’t,” Tobie says. “It’s not hygienic.”

“But we could…” Reid goes back to whispering.

Tobie’s cheeks are red, her breathing heavy, and those gorgeous tits are swelling. And I have to know what Reid wants to do to her because our girl fucking loves it.

I shake my head.

Ourgirl?

This is fake.

She’s notreallyours.

“Um.” Tobie swallows. “But no books would be damaged?”

“Not one book.” Reid crosses his fingers over his heart. “Scout’s honor.”

“Then I guess we could. But…”

Reid whispers again.

She clamps her thighs together, and I suddenly have no interest in hitting the gym. I have to know what this is all about.

“What do you think he’s planning to do to her in the library?” I adjust myself in my pants as I watch them leave.
