“Such a polite boy. Let me get the bill and we’ll order a cab.”

Josh automatically went to get his wallet out of his pocket. Daniel gripped his arm.

“Don’t even think about it, Josh. This weekend is on me. Giving me the privilege of your company...” He leaned forward. “And your body...” he added with a smile. “Is priceless to me.”

He held Josh’s stare until he nodded. Daniel let go of his arm and asked for the bill before getting out his phone and ordering their ride.

“Shall we go home?” said Daniel, holding out his hand.

Josh took it and stood up, and Daniel didn’t let go as he led him outside.

Home? That’s how he’d referred to where they were going. The thought of “home” being somewhere he shared with Daniel was making his heart beat fast. Having a man who was considerate and hot as fuck was too much to ask for. He couldn’t allow himself to get carried away and start dreaming of the impossible. It would only lead to heartbreak in the end.

CHAPTER 6

DANIEL

Daniel woke up with Josh snuggled up next to him. He could get used to this. When he’d approached him on Friday evening, he didn’t believe he could ever feel this way about someone again, let alone so quickly. It should be terrifying, but Daniel was too excited to get scared about this. The question was, what was he going to do about it? He didn’t want this weekend to be it, but wondered what Josh was thinking. For someone who was so expressive when they were having sex, he would often go off into his own world part way through conversations like he was deep in thought. Josh had shared a lot about his childhood and his parents, but Daniel felt he was still holding something back. He’d been adamant about Daniel not seeing where he lived, and it wasn’t because he had a secret boyfriend stashed there. Daniel suspected he was financially supporting his sister, which would be a strain. He’d made a comment yesterday about money, but Daniel hadn’t pushed him on it.

He noticed Josh’s eyes flicker open, taking a moment to realise where he was. Oh, to wake up next to this every day was something Daniel would be very happy with. What he’d do tonight was ask Josh if he could see him again, and hewouldn’t be waiting until next weekend. He’d find time around work, like he had this weekend. But first, he had a day planned for them out of the city.

“Morning, gorgeous,” he said, kissing Josh’s forehead.

He smiled and snuggled further into Daniel, his morning wood pressing into Daniel’s thigh.

“Someone’s excited,” he said, sliding his hand under the covers and tugging on Josh’s cock.

His own cock was getting onboard with the prospect of more action, but his body needed a break. Once they’d gotten back from dinner, Daniel had fulfilled his promises and fucked Josh, slow and deep, for two hours. Josh had to be sore, but from the way he was palming Daniel’s cock, he was probably gearing up for another round.

Josh disappeared under the covers, and a few seconds later, Daniel felt the warmth of his boy’s mouth around his swollen cock, which was immediately at full mast. His boy? Not that he was into the daddy thing, but he liked the sound ofboywhenever he said it to Josh. Could it even be possible that Josh could be his? Whatwasn’tpossible was thinking, as Josh worked his length like a pro, and all Daniel could do was lie back and let the boy enjoy his breakfast.

After exchanging mutual orgasms, then having a light breakfast and separate showers for the sake of time, they were in the car and heading out of the city. They had the radio on low, so they could still talk. Josh’s phone pinged, and Daniel instinctively looked at it, having to do a double take.

“Did you just get a text from someone callsperm donor?”

Josh went red and put his phone face down between his legs.

“You don’t have to tell me, you know,” he said, stroking his thigh.

“It’s what I call my dad. The biological one.”

Daniel snorted. “It’s how I refer to mine too. Why is he texting you? I didn’t think you knew him.”

“We’ve only met about five times.”

“Since your parents died?”

“My entire life. The last time I saw him was at their funeral.”

Anger flashed through Daniel. He’d never known his own father, and they’d never met. He still to this day didn’t know who he was, and wasn’t interested in ever finding out.

“Where does he live?” asked Daniel. Perhaps he was overseas.

“I’m not sure where he lives, but he works in the city. He does something in law as well.”

The legal world wasn’t a big place; maybe Daniel knew who he was. He dismissed that thought. It wasn’t his business to get involved.

“What does he want? If you don’t mind me asking.”
