“Devil wants me to create asafe house for their women.”

“A war is coming, and wehave to be ready.I fucked up with Devil, but this is your call onwhat you make.”

“What would you decide?”Lash asked.

“Son, I’m not about to give youthe answers you’re looking for.I didn’t have anyone to rely onwhen I had to make a choice.It’s not easy, and I know it fuckingsucks, but you’ve got to have faith in yourself.What is your hearttelling you?”

“My heart?”

“It’s corny and shit, but yourheart is in the club.Your woman, Angel, I never would have put heras a strong woman, and she’s certainly proven that I can be wrong.She’s strong enough to take on the club women, and she doesn’t evenneed to use violence.”

Lash smiled, thinking about the last fewmonths of him training her, not only to fight but to also use aweapon.She was becoming one hell of a shot.He was never going topiss her off or risk getting his dick blown off.

“What do you want to do?”Tiny asked.

Taking a deep breath, he stared up atthe clubhouse.It had been broken into, burnt down, rebuilt, andinvaded.This was his home, it was his life, and he was never goingto leave it.

“We’re going to haveDevil’s back when his enemy comes to call.Chaos Bleeds, they’reour allies, and it’s time the world knows it.”

Tiny nodded, slapping his back.“Go andrest.There’s plenty of time to fight, but resting, it’s a luxuryduring times of war.”

They made their way into theclubhouse together, and Lash didn’t wait around.He headed towardhis room, and opened Anthony’s door first.His little boywassleeping.Anthony was already in school, and learning fast.Resting his headagainst the doorframe, Lash watched him sleep before entering hisroom.

Angel was curled up on her side,looking beautiful like always.He removed his clothes quietly so hedidn’t wake her.

As he climbedin behind her, shereleased a sigh.“Where did you go?”she asked.

“I had some thinking todo.”

“Did you come to adecision?”

“Yes, I did.We’re going tohelp Devil.”

“I knew you’d come to the rightdecision.”She wriggled into his arms, and he cupped herstomach.

“You know I was going tolet the Chaos women come here?”

“It’s the right thing todo.It’s why I love you, and I’ll always love you no matter whatyou do.You’re a good man.”

He would never understand Angel, but heloved her with his whole heart.

Chapter Three

Charlotte was so warm, and itfelt so good to be warm.Sheopened her eyes, and frowned as she blinked sleepfrom her eyes.It had been over seven years since she had a goodnight’s sleep free of nightmares.She became aware of a rock hardbody at her back with a thigh between hers.

That was something she’d neverwoken up to.Gash had been completely out of it the night they had slepttogether, and there hadn’t been any kind of snuggling likethis.

Glancing behind her back, she saw thatGash was wrapped around her.His large body held her in place, notletting her move.

“Stop moving,” hesaid.

“You’re awake.”

“It’s hard to sleep, babe, withyou moving around all crazy.Just go back to sleep.”

“You’re holding me!”She yelledthe words, shocked that he was holding her.It had been the bestnight’s sleep of her life, and now she knew why.Gash had beenwrapped around her, and she couldn’t think of any other excuse asto why she slept sowell.
