“No. I need you close. You’re fucking me like we don’t know each other.” I looked up at him, finding his cold eyes unusually heated. “You’re fucking me like it’s a game. I don’t want games, I just want you.”

I pulled down my dress and moved his hand from my neck into my bra where he clutched my breast. I reached around his neck, sliding my fingers into his hair. I found his lips and we held onto one another. He relaxed, moudling into me, no longer fucking, now making love.

He moved deep, never leaving me more than a few inches. Never letting up. He swallowed my moans and I took what he gave and the sound of the world outside faded away until there was nothing left but us.

When he came, I basked in the heavenly feeling of him spilling inside me. He squeezed my breast, his mouth tugging at my neck, my ear, my lips, like he couldn’t get enough of me.

We stayed there for a few moments, coming down together. Eventually, he pulled out and helped me down off the table. He held me steady while I regained my equilibrium. He fastened his trousers, looking as if nothing had just happened. I, on the other hand, looked like I’d just been hit by a truck. Or fucked by one.

“Look at the mess you made.” Alfie nodded at the fluid still dripping off the edge of my desk to form a small puddle on the floor. He handed me the box of tissues on my desk.

“You want to watch me clean it up?”

His eyes flashed with amusement. He sat in my chair, smirking as I cleaned up the desk. Some of the papers were wet. I’d have to reprint those later.

“You missed a spot.” He pointed and I spotted a few drops on his shoe. My cheeks flushed but he didn’t seem to mind. Playing along, I crawled along the floor and cleaned the droplets off the leather. When I was done I knelt between his legs, smiling up at him.

“Happy?”

“Very.” His earlier intensity was gone, replaced with a more relaxed man. “Go and clean yourself up.” I stood and pulled out some more tissues, trying to think how I could clean myself in a ladylike way when he interrupted me. “No, go to the bathroom and clean yourself. Walk outside just as you are.” He pulled the tissue box out of my hand and tossed it aside to emphasise his point.

“Alfie…” I pointed at my thighs, where his pleasure and mine glistened on my skin. He didn’t budge. “Can I at least have my underwear?”

His smirk told me otherwise.

I huffed and walked outside into the sunlight. I hurried to the bathrooms, trying to walk like I hadn’t just had two mind bending orgasms and there weren't certain bodily fluids dripping down my thighs.

“Lola!”Oh crap. Rosie bustled towards me, Daisy at her side. “Have you seen the car parked out front? I think it’s the most expensive car this place has ever seen!”

“That’s Mr Tell's car. He came in person to make sure everything is on track for Harrington.” Should I have pretended I didn’t know whose car it was? Surely that would cause more problems. If she found out after the fact that he was here, she’d want to know why I’d kept it a secret.

“Wow, really? Did he know Mark isn’t here? He just wanted to speak to you?”

“I suppose. I think he wanted to check on the plans for the project that he’s given me as well,” I said, as if he couldn’t have done all of that over the phone.

“Alright. You’re awfully flushed, are you feeling okay?”

“It’s the heat,” I said, just as a cool breeze brushed over us. With a skeptical eye she wandered off and I hurried into the bathroom. There was no way she could know what I’d just done but I worried all the same. If I got fired I was going to kick Alfie’s perfectly sculpted backside all the way back to his ivory tower.

Back in my office, I found Alfie still in my chair, this time browsing through the papers on my desk.

“Those are confidential, you know.”

He snorted in response. “What’s this?” He asked, holding up my sketch pad.

“It’s my designs for a project I’m working on for my nephew's school. They asked me to create a garden for them.”

“Hm.” He looked them over, and I hovered, unsure what to do with myself. “What are they paying you?”

“They aren’t. I don’t want them to.” He gave me a look but I ignored it. “Anyway, this is where I was last night. Getting everything ready.”

“Last night? I thought you were babysitting.”

“I was afterwards. First I was at the school getting all the materials set up.”

“By yourself?” He frowned. “I don’t approve of you moving heavy shit on your own, Lola.”

“Bradley offered to help me, thank god, or it would have taken me forever to move everything.”
