A snort of laughter rumbled from Malachi. “Yea, and let’s keep it that way, okay, babe?”
The only answer he got was a snore and another hip wiggle. The male body plastered against him, chest to chest, cock to cock, and leg to leg…felt absolutely perfect. Even the kid’s snores didn’t bother him. After a few minutes of enjoying the wonderfully dominant feeling he gained from their position, he drifted off to sleep.
At precisely six am, his eyes opened and he tried to stretch but the body still draped on top of him…still snoring, prevented him from moving without disturbing his lover. He glanced at the clock, his mind screaming that it was time for him to begin his morning ritual but his heart told his mind to shut the fuck up. The hot, tight body on top of him felt too good…so he just lay there, enjoying every second of it.
He lay there for another hour, appreciating the sleepy sounds and sexy wiggles the boy blessed him with. Even sound asleep, he still transfixed Malachi. A slight frown marred his perfect features, making Malachi wonder if it was because of their cuddling position. The non-cuddling rule with Justice was strange. It was apparent how much the boy loved being touched, so he couldn’t understand why he didn’t like the bed snuggle. Buzzing from his phone caused a frown. Who the hell was texting him now?
Dante: Travis and I are in the driveway. Shut off the security so we can come in. If you’re wondering, asshole, I’m still mad at you. I’ve never been mad at you in my life…but I’m mad. If you care, Christopher is pretty pissed, too.
Malachi: Security’s down. Come on in. You have absolutely no reason to be mad at me. I’ve never given you a reason to be in your life…I didn’t start now. Conners will get over it.
Well, hell. Dante’s arrival could only mean one thing. Their time together in Tennessee was officially over. He wanted more time to explore this new part of their relationship, wanted to give the kid time to get comfortable with them being together. It appeared they weren’t going to have that luxury. It didn’t matter, he wanted the kid and he was keeping him.
“Holy shit! It is seven o’clock in the morning and Malachi is lying down…and isn’t in a casket. Holy shit!” Travis screeched out the last ‘holy shit’ into way too many syllables. Malachi had so not missed that boy.
The odd sound stirred Justice from his beauty sleep. Pale blue eyes fluttered open slowly and Malachi waited for the realization of what had occurred between them last night to come crashing down onto the boy. Instead of denials, Justice merely glanced sleepily toward the clock. Malachi felt his body stiffen.
“Holy fuck! It’s seven o’clock in the morning and you’re still in bed! Dude, you are going to fucking explode any second now!”
“Very funny, smartass,” Malachi said and followed that up with a firm smack to an ass cheek. “Watch your mouth. We have company.”
Justice’s head whipped around and when he saw the two men lounging in the doorway, he started struggling to get up, weird, incoherent words tumbling from his mouth. Embarrassment flooded his cheeks.
Malachi held him tightly. “Settle down. Now!”
“I am not in your playroom. Don’t talk that shit to me right now,” Justice growled, but his body miraculously turned completely still.
“Oh…my…gosh. This is the hap-hap-happiest day of my life. Did you hear that? I did. That was a sub talking back to the high and mighty Malachi.” A huge smile spread across Travis’ face. He knew it was probably like waving a red flag in front of Malachi, but he didn’t care, couldn’t help himself.
Dante was completely silent as he stared at his friend. Malachi stared back, just as silent.
After a few uncomfortable seconds, Dante said, “Let’s go make some breakfast, Travis. Will you be joining us, Malachi?”
“I need a few minutes. Shut the door behind you.”
The second the door closed, Justice prepared to rip into Malachi, but the other man was faster with his words. “I need to fuck you. Now. Again. Are you too sore? Ineedyou.”
Justice felt his anger evaporate. Those words were like drugs to him. “Okay.”
Malachi chuckled and flipped them so fast that Justice didn’t have time to realize what was happening. “That is beginning to be my favorite word.”
In the kitchen, Dante stalked around and started looking in cabinets. Travis eyed his lover curiously. He knew Dante was mad at Malachi for using the kid. He’d listened to Dante rant and rave, fuss and fume, for almost three weeks. The cons of Justice, Malachi, and Megan being involved in a sub/dom /domme relationship had been explained to him, in vivid detail, at least one hundred times. He loved Dante more than anything in the world and could normally listen to his sexy voice for hours upon hours…but the fucking con list was really long. He was pretty sure he was tired of hearing about it.
He was also pretty sure Dante was wrong.
“I think they are in there messing around,” he whispered in a dramatically loud voice. Malachi’s boy was sure the fuck a screamer…or moaner…or whatever the hell noises he was making. Whatever you called them, they were sexier than fuck.
“You think?” Dante responded dryly.
“Yep. I’m sure of it. You know what else? I’ve heard some sex noises, some groans and moans, maybe even some whimpers, but you know what I haven’t heard?”
Dante continued pilfering the cabinets. Who the hell knew what he was looking for? “I haven’t heard the first ass slap.”
Dante finally turned and glared. “What is that supposed to mean, Travis? I’m too pissed off to follow you right now. Malachi doesn’t need to use that kid like he is. Justice has been through a lot of shit. I bet the greedy fuck hasn’t even stopped to ask him about his past.”
Travis frowned. “Number one, it means I think they are in there making love, not acting out a scene. Number two, I don’t think being with Malachi would be putting Justice through a lot of shit,” he said. “And I don’t think you believe that either. What the hell is going on, Dante?”
Dante being mad at Malachi had been fun at first. Travis had always been just an itsy bitsy bit jealous of their strong bond. The fun feeling had passed quickly. He didn’t like seeing his lover hurting…and being mad at Malachi was hurting him.
