I slid out of his hole as I asked, his body giving more resistance than I would’ve expected. There was a soft squelching sound as my fingers popped free, slick with his fluids.

“Because I didn’t bring my cock so I didn’t freak you out?” He licked his lips. He sounded out of breath. It made it hard to assign a lot of value to his words or the way he rolled his eyes. “This is what behaving for once gets me.”

I pinched his side. “This attitude is not… How do you say it? Giving behaving.”

Jaime snorted. “It’s all you’re getting.”

“Is it?” I retorted.

He didn’t answer, not for a minute. I had to get him some water, but I didn’t want to move. I didn’t want to miss whatever storms were clouding around him. Jaime was one of those people who carried everything on his face. When he thought, his eyes darted around as if he was seeing the arguments in front of him, reading through them and replaying them.

It was a good thing I didn’t move. I would’ve missed the way he froze; the way he chewed on the inside of his cheek before looking up at me with the most unguarded look I’d seen on him.

“Please tell me I can spend the night at your place.” He swallowed, lifting a still-gloved hand before I could answer. “I, I don’t care about the puppy cock, but I don’t want to crash down from this. Please.”

I breathed out, curling my fingers around his wrist to lower his arm again. “You can.”

Was my reputation so bad here that the idea that I wouldn’t give the aftercare he needed was a genuine fear?

The sour taste in my stomach that followed the unasked question was not unfamiliar, but it wasn’t precisely welcome.

“Good.” There was more swallowing that followed the single word. “Um. Can you get me a blanket? I’m not a nudist.”

Unlike Sergio, I bet he wanted to say.

I appreciated the reprieve, even if the unspoken words hit me just the same.

“Of course.” I shook the thought off. “I’ll get you some water, too.”

“What is it with all you D-types and hydration?” he mumbled.

I didn’t think he cared for an actual answer to the question, so I placed him on the mats and stood up. The leather of my pants creaked—or maybe it was my knees. I ignored it.

All the rooms had at least one wardrobe with blankets and other aftercare items, so that’s where I headed. If I pushed down on my erection while I was at it, it was nobody’s business. I didn’t care about him getting me off, but I was definitely getting off to everything that had gone down today the second I had a chance.

Blanket and water first.

We had bottles of water by the bar, but there were a few emergency drinks with electrolytes in a minifridge hidden inside the same wardrobe. I grabbed one of those and would add it to my tab later.

“Drink up.”

Jaime didn’t protest when I handed him the bottled drink. He didn’t as I wrapped the blanket around him either. It wasn’t one of the fluffiest ones, but it was soft to the touch.

“Where’s your Daddy?”

I’d cleared it with Abel before I showed up here. There was no way I would’ve done it otherwise.

“Kitchen.” Sergio blinked. “Why? I’m not actually five. I can open the door myself, y’know. Just saying.”

I scrubbed a hand down my face. Yeah, we were off to a bad start.Figures.

“May I come in, Sergio?”

The boy just moved to the side. I was going to toe off my shoes by the entrance, but I remembered what Jaime said last night when I had to remind him of it—again. Only Kara and Erika seemed to appreciate manners in their friend group.
