“Can I check, just to make sure?” Zar pleads, giving me the puppy dog eyes his twin is usually known for.
“Of course.”
He lets out a deep breath before laying both hands on my stomach. I feel his magic settle over me, sinking into my body. It caresses me like a lover as it searches my body, focusing on my womb.
Zar’s head snaps up and he stares at me in wonder. “It’s more than one,” he gasps. “I can’t feel how many, but there’s definitely more than one little demon baby in there.”
“Twins?” Belz gasps.
“Or more.” Zar shrugs.
The guys are jolted out of their shock when Riz rounds the corner flanked by two waiters carrying a feast of all his best dishes.
“Why are you all still standing around? Sit, sit I’ve brought your favorites on the house as a thank you from my family. Congratulations on your engagement, she said yes I presume?”
“Thank you, Riz. Was there ever really any doubt?” Belz says as he helps me back into my seat. “We’re celebrating more than just the proposal tonight though. Seems Maddy here has a surprise of her own.”
Belz caresses my tummy and Riz’s eyes light up as he makes the connection.
“Well hell yeah, congratulations guys!” Riz smacks Oz on the back then gives me another hug.
As soon as Riz and his servers place the food on the table we all dig in like a pack of wild animals. Not a word is uttered outside of the occasional grunt or yummy sound. I finish my food and sit back in my chair stretching and popping open the top button of my jeans. Looking around I see I’m not the only one with a clean plate and an obviously full belly.
“I’m so stuffed I don’t think I could walk a block. Want to say goodbye and then just pop home?”
“Yes, please,” Zeph groans.
We find Riz back at the front of the restaurant and say our goodbyes before disappearing and reappearing back in our suite.
“What’s that noise?” Zeph asks as we walk through the living room to our bedroom.
Cocking my head, I listen for the sound in question. Faintly I hear soft, high-pitched whining. Pushing Belz and Zeph out of my way I dart into our bedroom and find Snowball lying on her bed with Fireball standing vigil. I quickly come to a stop and slow down softly cooing and making sure neither of them see me as a threat to the precious bundles I expect to find.
“Oh my hell, Snow, you did such a good job momma. Can I come see your puppies, girl?”
I crawl on the floor to their nest and Fireball sniffs me before scooting over just enough for me to see four tiny little blue and white fluff balls.
Oh myme, they are so fucking adorable!
“I can’t imagine havingfourbabies. You’re a rockstar, Snow!”
Just a few months ago, I was a singlehumanteacher with a creepy stalker. Now, I’m the Queen of Hell, watching this beautiful world get better and better every day. And to think it all started with some orange soda and whipped cream vodka.

Four Months Later…
“It’s only been five months, Belz. I’m not going into labor. Pregnancy lastsninemonths. It’s just Braxton Hicks or whatever. I’m fine. Stop worrying,” I tell my mate just before another contraction almost brings me to my knees.
This is not happening. It’s too soon.
“It takes nine months forhumans. OnEarth. You are neither human, nor on Earth,Amica Mea.”
“You’ve seen all the babies being born lately. You know demon pregnancies don’t last as long. I don’t know why you won’t believe us,” Zar mutters.
