A mistake we’ve spent the past decade taking advantage of. Cree and Beck are the best at what they do. Finding information. Any government agency would kill to have them on their side, but they work forus. I have no doubt they’ll be able to find Jax’s girl. If they can track down any assassin that had a hand in killing our families, they’ll have no problem finding her.

Jax raises his head. “Guys… What if we can't find her? What if she outright rejects me? What will I do?” He looks between us and I can tell he’s really worried about the possibility. Gone is my brother who didn’t give a fuck what a woman thought of him. His confidence and fuck the world attitude never left him with a short of females to warm his bed with. And he rarely fucked the same woman twice. Now, the thought of never seeing this one again is enough to give him palpitations.

Neo, the asshole, says, “Your dick will never work again.”

KC and I both punch the fucker.

“Not helping asshole,” I growl.

Jax snorts. That's progress. “Well, he’s right. I'll never get it up again now that I met her. Damn…”

“Damn, what?” KC furrows his brows at our brother, not following his thought process.

“The thought of never getting pussy again. The thought of only one pussy till I die.” He shutters. “But, fuck guys when you see her… she's everything I never knew I wanted. I've been happyfucking the sweetbutts we have here. Now I can't stand the thought of them.”

We all laugh and have a few drinks, making idle chit-chat while we wait for the guys to get us information.

A gentle knock sounds from the door, and I know it’s not the guys. I arch a brow at KC, who shrugs before saying, “Enter.”

As if summoned by our previous conversation, Vixen walks in, her big tits covered with a thin white shirt, her areolas showing through. She may as well walk around topless. “Hey, boys. Jax we still on for tonight?” she purrs.

Jax looks at her, and I swear to the goddess, he turns green. Thankfully Neo speaks up, “Nah Vix, you get me tonight.” He gets up, throws her over his shoulder, and winks at Jax. Then they disappear out the door.

“Remind me to buy him a bottle of his favorite. I owe him one.” He throws back the rest of his drink and KC and I chuckle.

Chapter 11

Cree

Beck and I leave the Prez’s office, ignoring the typical Saturday night ruckus as we pass the bar on our way to our office. The secretary and I work together the most off of our bikes, so it made sense for us to share a workspace. And when it comes to jobs like this, no one is better than us when we team up. Either of us could find anyone on our own, but when we’re both on it, we find our prey ten times faster. And there’s never been a more important job. We’ll make sure there’s no video evidence of Jax’s shift then we’ll find his mate. I won’t sleep until he has her.

“Run a scan for Jax’s bike within five miles of the fight club. I’m gonna hack into their surveillance and find his girl,” I tell Beck as I walk to my desk.

It takes me no time at all to find Jax in the club. I do have to wait a while before the girl appears. Her long purple hair gives her away immediately. But there’s something else. Something inside me wakes up and snaps to attention as soon as she enters my line of vision. She bumps into Jax and I pause the playbackwhen she looks up at him, giving me my first look at her breathtaking face.

“Holy shit,” I gasp.

“What? What’d you find?” Beck is up and standing behind me before I can answer him. His heart stops for a second before suddenly racing, but I’m too far gone to pay attention to anything else he says.

My entire focus, my entireworldnarrows until it’s just her.

My mate.

Jax’s mate.

By the sounds of it,Beck’smate.

What the fuck is going on?

“Cree? Tell me that’s not…” Beck stammers.

I suck in a breath through my nose and nod sharply.

“Buthow?” he whispers.

No fucking idea. I’m as shocked as you are buddy.

“Is that even possible? I’ve never known anyone to have more than one mate. Have you?”
