Page 61 of After Midnight

Dillon shivered twice as he pumped out the last of his release, then looked down at me wearing an expression I’d never seen on him before. Pure happiness radiated from him, and his blue eyes sparkled. No one had ever looked at me like Dillon was now, so warm and gentle.

I didn’t know what to make of it, except his intense gaze made my insides go all mushy.

Feeling his cum cooling on my lips, I darted my tongue out to lick off the remaining traces.

Dillon tracked the movement, heat filling his eyes before he captured my mouth with his. Cum swapping, which I’d seen on some porn sites, hadn’t appealed to me in the abstract, but damn… I’d definitely found a new kink.

Dillon moaned happily into my mouth before collapsing onto his side.

“That was amazing,” I said, partly to break the silence.

“Youare amazing,” Dillon said without opening his eyes.

“I’m an inexperienced klutz, but I’m also a very good student.”

Dillon chuckled. “Trust me, it comes naturally.” He leaned up onto his elbow, facing me. “I know this was our first timetogether and I know it’s probably too soon, especially since, you know…”

I stopped his rambling by putting my hand over his mouth, because I wasn’t ready to hear the big three words. Just in case he was about to say that.

“I feel a lot, too, Dillon.”

He smiled and nodded, kissing my palm before I took my hand away. When he looked down at my chest, still streaked with his cum, he jumped up and grabbed a towel out of the bathroom to wipe me down.

When he finished, he winked and said, “I have another surprise, but you have to come here.” He drew me up off the bed and toward the front of the room as I chuckled at his antics. The man always had something up his sleeve.

I hadn’t noticed when we’d come into the room that there were items on the table, hidden beneath a white cloth. He lifted it with a flourish, revealing a bottle of wine, two glasses, and a platter of chocolate-covered strawberries.

He set the cloth down, then wrapped his arms around me and whispered, “See, I can do fancy too.”

I laughed as he nuzzled into my neck, thinking of the decidedly unfancy burgers we’d had for dinner.

He poured the wine and I’d just bitten into one of the strawberries when my phone pinged. I ignored it and took another bite, but my nerves got the better of me.

“Let me just make sure it isn’t an emergency.”

Dillon winked at me again and took a sip of his wine. I guess he already knew I wasn’t going to ignore it.

I grabbed the phone out of my pants pocket. I smiled at the memory of Dillon having peeled those pants off me when I opened the message and saw the text was from my sister.

Olivia:You need to come home now! Something’s wrong with Alli.

I immediately called Uncle Jeffrey, all thoughts of my being embarrassed about being naked or having just had sex forgotten. Unfortunately, he didn’t answer. Concerned, I began throwing my clothes back on. “I’m sorry, Dillon, there could be a family emergency.”

I looked around the room regretfully. There were so many more things I wanted to do with Dillon. But familial responsibilities never ended, even on special date nights. I shivered as I pushed the thoughts of Alli lying in the Emergency Room out of my head.

Dillon got dressed just as quickly and drove me back to my car, which I’d left parked at the comedy club. “Do you want me to come with you?” he asked.

“No, it’s probably nothing. Olivia is a bit of a drama queen,” I said, hoping to God that was the case. “I’ll text you when I get back home.”

“Okay but text me as soon as you know something. I’ll be at home worrying myself sick if I’m left to wonder.”

I hugged him, enjoying how different our bodies felt together now I’d seen all of him, felt most of him, and wanted to do it all again.Damn it, Olivia,I thought to myself, this had better be important.

I pulled into my driveway and my concern ramped up when I noticed all the lights were off. It wasn’t that late yet and I’d have thought everyone would still be up. Unless there really had been an emergency and they were at the hospital.

I clicked my automatic garage door opener and was about to pull in when Margarette… Martha… hell, whatever her name was, stepped in front of the car.

She banged her hands on the hood, yelling and looking crazed. My heart pounded as I picked my phone up to call the cops. My hands shook so much, though, I dropped the phone. As I reached to pick it up, someone else must’ve come around theside because the next thing I knew, my driver’s door window was smashed, the door jerked open, and two large hands reached in to grab me.
