"However many we brought." Angelo shrugged and nuzzled his face between Emerson's shoulder blades.
"You drank all twelve beers?" I laughed. "Dude, you're not drunk. You're in a walking coma!"
"Shit," Emerson whispered as Angelo's hands ran up and down his torso, then slipped under his t-shirt, pulling it up so he had free access to stroke his mate's washboard abs.
"Better get him home before," I paused as Angelo's hand slid inside Emerson's waistband and headed south, "exactlythathappens!"
Emerson grabbed Angelo's wandering hand with a soft growl, turned, and tossed his mate over his shoulder.
"We're leaving," he said as he reached down and adjusted himself. "Thanks for inviting us and congrats again, Rio and Emme."
With a mischievous grin, Angelo stretched down and grabbed two big handfuls of Emerson's butt.
"Dammit, Angelo!" Emerson muttered as he practically sprinted toward his SUV. "You got me hard as a rock!"
"Just how I like you," Angelo purred. "Don't you dare come before I get you in my mouth or Papa will punish—"
"Yeah, I ain't going home to that any time soon," Konstantin said loudly to drown out Angelo's fading voice. "With Leo and Poppy out of town and Reau at his besties, they'll never make it upstairs before they're naked, and I ain't trying to seethatagain."
Everyone laughed, then began making noises about leaving, too. It wasn't getting late, but it was obvious that the new mates wanted some alone time.
I turned to Konstantin.
"While all these lovebirds head back to their nests, how about you and I take our single selves off to a little bar I know?" I invited him.
"I'd say sure, but I don't have any ID. Gelo is taking me for my driver's test next week. We had to wait until he could get some papers forged that made my age match up to my appearance and—"
"Where we're going, you aren't going to need an ID," I cut him off. "Claws and fangs when a fight breaks out, but not an ID."
"Then I'm definitely in. Other than the alphas, only Emerson and Leo offer Chime Karma any kind of challenge during training. He's been itching for a good fight."
"We need to introduce you to the Hall twins," Tristan smirked. "They'll give him a good run for his money."
"The Hall twins?"
"They'll be seniors with you this year," I explained. "The alphas are going to introduce the luna to them and three of Peri's friends so she knows more people to go to if she runs into trouble."
"Peri's friends are there for academic support," Tyler said, shuffling his sleeping mate in his arms to cuddle her better. "The Halls, on the other hand, live, eat, and breathe football. They're linebackers on the school team and well on their way to becoming two of the best warriors in the pack."
"They have to beat Liv for that title," Landry pointed out as he hugged Grace from behind. "I swear, my sister gets more competitive every week!"
I grinned. Olivia Benson wasthebest of the unranked warriors in the pack - and took great pride and pleasure in proving it to everyone during training.
"You haven't met the Hall twins yet because Alpha Mason has them on an insanely intense regimen," Nick told Kon, "and theyloveit. The harder he pushes them, the more they give him."
"I'd like to tussle with them some time." Konstantin crossed his arms over his chest and grinned. "I was thinking about trying out for the football team, but I'll be at school for only half a day since I need just three credits to graduate. Would the coach let me play?"
"Considering the coach is one of our warriors, I don't think it will be a problem," Tyler laughed.
"Plus, sixty percent of the team is pack," Landry added with a smirk. "Come to conditioning with me and Ty tomorrow and meet everyone."
"All right. Sounds good. I look forward to it." Konstantin nodded at them, then turned to me. "You ready to go?"
"Hell, yeah," I said with a dark chuckle. "Always ready to pick a fight."
