I came back to my senses with my mates' hands stroking my arms, legs, hair, and back.

I could tell I was propped up against one of them, Mason by the campfire smell, and they were whispering among themselves. Otherwise, it was completely silent, not even crickets chirping.

Did they get the king and queen to lead the pack on the run while they stayed with me?

Slowly cracking my eyelids open, I looked around at their faces. My vision was a bit blurry, but not so much that I couldn't see how worried they were.

"Are you okay, Posy?" Wyatt noticed my open eyes first.

"Sleepy." I forced the word out on a breath of air.

"Are you in pain?" Cole demanded with a heavy scowl.

I shook my head.

"What can we do?" Jayden asked. "Do you need water or anything?"

I shook my head again.

"Yousureyou're okay?" Ash kept pulling his hair, making me wince.

Stop that, waffle, I linked all of them, too drained to speak anymore.Don't hurt my curls! And, yes, I'm fine. Just exhausted. Did it work?

"Yeah, baby, it worked."

Mason pressed his lips to my forehead for a long moment, then slid his hand inside my shirt to rub my back. His fingers barely touched my skin before he stilled. Quickly turning me so my front was against his chest, he whipped up the back of my t-shirt and my mates all gasped.

"Posy," Jayden breathed.

"Oh, my Goddess," Cole whispered and ran his finger along my waistband as if looking for that brand he hated so much. "Oh, my Goddess!Allof them?"

All of them.I tried to raise my head, found out what a bad idea that was, and returned it to its comfy spot on Mason's chest. The Moon Goddess needed a sacrifice.

"And that sacrifice was your scars?" Ash sounded confused.

She wanted the evidence of hate,I corrected him, then sighed tiredly. I'll tell you more later. For now, where is he? Where's Reau?

"Guess," Wyatt snorted as he kissed my shoulder where the deepest scar had been.

With his besties or his mama and papa.

"All four of them," Jayden told me. "Sweetness, we aresoproud of you."

"Your heart and grace and courage are unparalleled, cutie."

"It's an honor to be your mate."

"Sweet girl. My princess. We love you with everything that's in us."

And Mason cradled me close, one hand on the back of my head and the other tight around my waist.

I could hear their wolves praising and complimenting Lark, too, although Quartz fussed at her a bit for risking herself, but she only rolled her eyes at him, which made him snort.

Did the run start?I asked after a minute.

"No, honey," Cole said. "No one's wolf can - or will - leave until they know their luna is safe and well."

Help me stand. I struggled to get out of Mason's arms.
