"Surprised doesn't cover it," Cole murmured.
"I knew you painted those wolves hanging in Posy's special room and that fish in your office, but this..." Jay broke off to shake his head. "Wyatt, this isamazing!"
"Why did you hide your art from us?" Ash tilted his head to the side, his dark eyes confused and maybe a little hurt.
Shrugging, I shuffled my feet and crammed my hands in my pockets.
"Where have you been creating this stuff?" Cole frowned at me. "You don't even have an easel at home."
"That place you rent downtown." Mase gave me a sharp look. "It's a secret art studio?"
"Yeah," I admitted.
"Not a secret any longer!" Posy handed them each one of the business cards we'd designed and had printed. "Full Moon Studio is now official!"
"Full Moon Studio." Jay grinned. "I love it! And how appropriate that it's a full moon tonight!"
"We planned that on purpose," Posy told him so seriously, it made me snort.
"I figured that out on my own, sweetness," he teased her.
"Well, I didn't, so thanks for the info, princess. I thought it was just a coincidence." Ash stuck his tongue out at Jay.
I opened my mouth to roast him, but Mase threw his arm around my shoulders and squeezed me.
"I'm proud of you, baby brother. Congratulations."
"Thanks, Mase." My voice came out all husky, so I hurried to make a joke. "Posy made me do it."
That got a wry chuckle out of him, and I grinned.
"We'reallproud of you," Cole said, nudging Mase out of the way.
As he gave me one of his signature bear hugs, Jay held up one of the gallery's brochures advertising my exhibition.
"I'm going to grab more of these to put in our alpha offices and around the pack house," he said. "Maybe one for the photo album, too."
"Ooh! We should start a scrapbook!" Posy hopped up and down. "A scrapbook of all our adventures together!"
"Sure, cutie." I patted Cole's shoulder as he stepped back.
Jay moved in and told me he was also proud of me, then gave me a hug. When he moved away, I looked at Ash expectantly.
He snorted.
"I'm proud of you and happy for you, dude, but I ain't hugging you and you know why? Because you're plotting something. I can see it in your eyes."
"I'm not plotting anything. Just waiting for some love from my older brother."
Say something.Pleasesay something. I'll die if she actually smacks you!
"Pull up a chair and keep waiting."
"Posy," I whined, "Ash is making fun of me."
"No, he'steasingyou, and don't think I don't know what you're trying to do." She gave me a sharp look, and my jaw dropped.
"But cutie—"
