Yep! The same one who's enriched all our lives just by existing.
After we finished getting all gussied up, we trooped downstairs and waited with Wyatt for our girl and her 'personal stylist' to make their grand appearance.
When she entered the room a few minutes later, excitement lit up her beautiful face and secrets filled her eyes, and I had to catch my breath.
Ash had outdone himself with her clothes and hair. Her elegant dress was cream with sleeves that belled out at her elbows, and her low heels were light pink and velvety. He'd put her hair up in a sophisticated twist, and she wore the necklace we gave her a few days ago. It was a simple gold chain with five freshwater pearls - one to represent each of us - and she declared it was her favorite piece of jewelry as soon as she saw it.
It didn't even cost $100, but she scorned her Cartier jewels and Harry Winston diamonds to wear it tonight?I shook my head.
Little mate has no care for the cost of a present, Quartz snorted.Only the love with which it is given.
Truer words were never spoken.
I know that, Jayden.
"You look divine," I told her while my brothers tried to remember how to speak.
"Thank you." She blushed, delighting me. "Everyone remembers what to do, right?"
"Yep." Cole came over, picked up her hand, and kissed her wedding rings. "You're going with Wyatt in his precious car. In five minutes, we're going to get in my SUV and follow the GPS directions that you had Wyatt set in Mase's phone."
"And?" She raised her eyebrows expectantly.
"We won't look at the address until we get there," we all chorused, having had it drilled in our heads all week.
"Why does Wyatt get to be your conspirator?" Ash pouted as he joined us, looking sharp in his brand-new black suit. "I'm just as good at conspirator-ing."
"Conspiring," I corrected.
"Dude! Whatever!"
"You'll find out the answer to that soon enough," Posy said. "But thank you all for being good sports about this. I just don't want anything to ruin the surprise."
"We'll get it right, little flower." Mase leaned down and pecked her lips. "We won't mess up."
"I know you won't."
She gave him a big sunshine smile, the one that showed off her dimples, and all of us knew that, regardless of whatever this 'surprise' was, we'd do much worse than blindly follow GPS directions to make her happy.
"Then let's get this show on the road, shortcake." Wyatt held out his elbow, and she tucked her hand into it.
"This is going to be so much fun!" she squealed, making us all smile.
Wyatt led her out the front door, and the rest of us looked at each other.
What mate wants, mate gets, Topaz reminded us all.
"Yep," we said together, then Cole added dryly, "Even if it means wearing a suit during the dog days of summer."

I was going to vomit.
"Posy, I don't know if I can do this." I put a hand on my stomach as it roiled with nerves.
We were in the back room of Collymore & Bean Gallery, waiting for Ms. Bean to unlock the front doors and let people into the opening night of my very first art exhibition - and I was most definitely going to vomit.
