"I don't see that happening," Cole smirked. "Not for Reau, anyway, and Arch and Wayne make their own amusement when they're bored."

"Maybe we'll run into them!" Posy chirped, finally releasing Emerson.

"Most likely," he agreed. "Poppy and Leo were job-hunting all day and came home disappointed. Gelo and I decided to tag along with the boys to give them some alone time."

"Hopefully, we won't go home to clothes strewn all over the living room again," Angelo muttered. "It may be the best stress relief, but that was not easy to explain to Reau."

"Yeah, we can only say they're doing laundry so many times," Emerson laughed. "Last time, he said they needed to buy more clothes so they don't have to run the washer so often."

We all chuckled except Posy, who had a thoughtful look on her face.

"Cutie?"

"Why are they job-hunting?" she asked. "I thought Poppy would work at the witches' shop?"

"She will when it's up and running," Angelo said, "but that's months away. They want to move into their own place soon. We've both told them they can stay as long as they want, but Leo's feeling the drive to provide for his mate."

"It's not because Kon moved in, is it?" she asked next.

I wondered the same thing. It probably wasn't easy to live with Thoreau and his issues as it was; a wary teen dragon shifter might have been the tipping point.

Em offered, Granite pointed out with a shrug, and it his home. Leo and Poppy guests just like Kon.

I didn't bother to argue with him and just gave him a small hum.

"Not at all. They both treat Kon like a little brother, just like they do Reau."

"Good," Jay said. "We figured it would be like that. Still, we should try to find Leo something to do. I can't imagine going from being a busy alpha to jobless."

"I have an idea!" Posy piped up. "It wouldn't be right away, though. We'd have to find something for in the meantime, but I think he'd make an excellent principal or assistant principal at our school!"

We all kind of froze for a few moments as we thought about that, then Mase and Jay started nodding.

"I can see that," Angelo and Ash said at the same time.

"Me, too," Cole said. "He could keep anyone in line, knows how to organize, has experience with reports and paperwork, and can be counted on to run a tight ship."

"Like running a pack," Posy agreed with a nod and small smile.

Damn, our girl smart, Wy, Granite murmured.

I know she is, wolf.

"Now go run this obstacle course!" She grinned brilliantly. "I'm getting hungry and want my dinner soon!"

She put her hands on my shoulders and tugged like she did when she wanted us to bend down to her level. When I did, she kissed my lips gently.

"I love you, my fifth star," she said as she stepped back. "Good luck."

Grinning, I waited for her to kiss each of my brothers and wish them good luck, too. Then we lined up to run the obstacle course, having determined we'd go in age order, followed by Emerson with Angelo going last.

Fortunately, none of us fell into the water. Our order of finishing was Ash first, Mase second, me third, Jay fourth, Cole fifth, Emerson sixth, and Angelo seventh. Our times were all within a minute of each other except for Angelo, who was two minutes slower than Ash. Couldn't really tease him, though; for someone who was basically human, he'd had an impressive showing. Few non-shifters could have kept up with alpha and beta wolves.

"What's next?" Cole asked our girl. "Dinner?"

"Yes, please!"

"Papa! Mama!" a familiar voice screamed. "Maamaaa!"
