"So what was your great idea for the kids?" I asked as I led the two of them into the living room.
"We're taking them to Bounce."
"What's Bounce?" I tilted my head as I looked up at Tyler.
"An indoor playground and trampoline park."
"Bounce?!" Wesley heard him and came running. "We're going to Bounce, Beta Ty?"
"Yep! Go fetch your baby bros, little dude."
Squealing with delight, Wesley went to do as he was told, and Mom and Mama came over to hug Tyler and Reuben. The moms fussed over both of them, telling them they needed to eat more because they were wasting away, which made me giggle.
Before they left, I tried to give them money to pay for their adventure, but Mom shook her head and told me to put my cash away.
"They're my kids, Posy." She dug her wallet out of her purse. "It's my responsibility to pay for them."
"But it's only because of me—"
"Hush, honey. To keep the heathens busy for a couple of hours is worth every dime." She patted her stomach and grinned. "Nathan and I are happy with whatever gender we get so long as he or she is healthy, but I really do hope this baby is a calm one."
"Mrs. Barlow, there is no chance of that," Tyler giggled. "From Alpha Wyatt down to baby Winnie, none of your children are calm."
"Oh, hush, Ty! Let me dream a little before reality crushes me."
"Beta Ty! Gamma Rube!"
Screaming at the top of his lungs, William ran into the room at full speed. Winnie was hot on his heels and yelling just as loudly.
"What have I told you boys?!" Evie thundered and the little ones came to a screeching halt and stared at her with big eyes. "Inside voices!"
"Says the woman shouting at them," Tyler said out of the side of his mouth, and I had to put my hand over my mouth to hide my grin.
"Dude, you're really going to poke a pregnant bear?" Reuben raised an eyebrow. "Not wise."
I giggled as Tyler rolled his eyes.
Then the kids followed Reuben out to his car and Tyler told Mom and Mama to enjoy the quiet while they could.
After the boys left, the moms descended on me.
One minute we were discussing decorations, and the next Mom and Mama had the whole ceremony planned and wanted to schedule it for Monday.
Monday.
And today was Friday.
"What will I do for a dress?" I freaked out. "And food. And tables for the food. And tablecloths for the tables for the food—"
"Relax, angel." Mama squeezed me in a hug. "We've both done this before, and we helped Jay's mom and Cole's mom with their luna ceremonies, too. We've got this."
"As for your gown, Peri would be honored to make it," Mom added. "That is, if you trust her enough to do a good job."
"Of course I do!" I clasped my hands under my chin. "I've seen some of the clothes she's made for herself. She's very talented."
"I'll pass along your compliments." Mom looked pleased. "She dreams of opening her own shop after she graduates. She'd like to specialize in formal gowns."
"Good thing she knows some brothers who would finance it," I grinned, then realized they'd need clothes, too. "What about my mates? Do they have nice clothes to wear?"
