"What does it look like?" she asked.

"Beautiful."

"No, I mean—"

"It's a replica of ours, sweetness," I told her. "A lovely full moon with two stars so far."

Her eyes bright, she pecked Mason on the lips before craning her neck to look up at me where I was still crouched by the headboard. Shaking my head at the silliness of my position, I scooted to hover over her as I had before. This time, I slid my hands under her shoulders and propped myself up on my elbows.

"I love you, sweetness," I said as I stared into her glittering blue eyes. "I'm so, so happy you're our mate."

She slid her arms around my waist and hugged me.

"I love you, too, Jayden, and I'm beyond happy that you all are my mates."

I smiled, then dropped my head to lay an open-mouth kiss on her mark. She hissed and shivered, and my smile stretched into a grin.

Okay, Quartz. Ready for this?

Permission?

Granted.

He dropped his canines and sank them into her soft flesh. Instantly, the moon magic danced between us and the mate sparks tickled my skin everywhere it touched Posy. She made a breathy little noise and her arms tightened around me, and Quartz retracted his fangs. Swiping his tongue over the wound, he cleaned up the blood, then handed control back to me.

Knowing how sideways this could have gone, I gave him my praise and thanks.

For our mate, he acknowledged.Anything for our mate.

I nodded, and he sank to the back of my mind.

Raising my head, I examined the mark and satisfaction filled me. A new link formed in my mind, and I prodded it to see if she could hear me yet. Either she couldn't, or she didn't understand what it was or how to open it.

"Posy, do you feel the mind link with Ash, Mase, or me yet?" I asked, kissing the corner of her lips.

Her eyes spaced out for a second, then she shook her head.

"It's probably an all or nothing thing," Mase guessed as he traded places with Cole. "Like when you marked us and each star showed up until you'd marked all five of us. Just like our mark is doing now."

"That makes sense," she said with a nod.

Cole cleared his throat, and I cut my eyes to him. He made a shooing gesture with one hand. I rolled my eyes, but moved out of his way and laid down on my side with Wyatt at my back.

Cole drew her closer, and his bear-like build enveloped her whole body until the only thing visible was a sweep of brown hair on her white pillow.

"Good morning, honey," he said and kissed her.

"Good morning, Cole. Did you have a good sleep?"

She rubbed her hands over his beard, which he kept at a long stubble in the summer. I wondered if she would be surprised when she saw how full he let it grow during the colder months.

"I did," he answered. "What about you?"

"Me, too. I've slept so well every night since I came here."

"Good. I'm happy to hear that. We all are." He kissed her again. "I love you, honey. For the rest of my life and with every beat of my heart."

"Oh, Cole." Her bottom lip trembled and tears gathered in her eyes, but she gave him a wide smile. "I love you, too. More than I could ever say in words."
