"I know you've had more social interaction in the past three weeks than you've had in the past six years, and it's probably exhausting." Mason squeezed my hands gently. "We can leave anytime you're ready. Just link one of us and we'll go home, okay?"
I nodded.
"We should start planning that beach vacation," he continued. "That would be relaxing for all of us."
"Best times to go to Bora Bora are November and April," Tyler piped up.
"Bora Bora?" Cole and Mason asked in sync.
"Oh, yes!" I brightened up and grinned at Mason. "Tyler told me about it and I looked up pictures on my phone! Can we go?Please?I want to stay in one of those bungalows over the water. I want to dip my feet in the water and watch sea turtles swim by!"
"Sure, baby." Mason brought my hands up and kissed the back of one, then the other. "If that's what's making your eyes sparkle like stars, then we are one-hundred percent going to Bora Bora."
"Yay!" I squealed.
"Take lots of photos for me, luna." Tyler turned around from the front seat to grin at me.
"What? You're coming along. All my beta are. I need my guards with me."
"Luna, you'll have your five mates with you." He rolled his eyes. "You won't need a guard."
"Yes, I will!" I pouted. "And they might as well bring their mates, too. Right, Mason?"
"Ah. Hmm. Well—"
"Thank you!" I leaned over as far as my seat belt would let me and smashed my lips on his in a quick kiss. "This is going to be so much fun! Oh, and I want Peri and Callie and Keeley to come along, too!"
"By the moon, you'll have the whole pack coming along in a minute," he muttered, but I noticed he didn't say no.
"We'll rent out one of the resorts," Cole said with a shrug.
Tyler and I exchanged wide-eyed looks, neither of us used to having the kind of money that my mates did.
"We'll figure it out." Mason tugged my hands to get my attention, and I saw a small smile on his lips. "Whatever you want, little flower, we will do."
"Thank you, Mason." Bouncing in my seat, I gave him a smile full of dimples, and his gray eyes grew soft.
"We're here!" Cole crowed and stopped the vehicle, and I tore my gaze away to look out the window.
A giant house made out of logs loomed before us, and my breath caught.
"It's so beautiful!" I whispered as I drank in the rich color of the wood, the handsome stonework, and the porch that ran all around the second floor.
"Thanks," Cole said. "Dad worked hard on it to get it exactly how he wanted it."
"Well, he did a good job. I can't wait to see inside!"
"Then come on!"

The betas and their mates were the first people I spotted when we went into the backyard. Then my eyes found the birthday girl talking with Callie and Keeley by the edge of the pool. She looked absolutely darling in her little swim shorts and matching top.
I sprinted over to my friends and wrapped Peri up in a hug.
"Happy birthday!" I squeezed her tight. "You look so cute!"
"Thanks! I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce you to my family," she giggled.
