Page 98 of Luna: Posy 2

Ash looked outraged, although that didn't stop him from gobbling down my bacon. Giggling, I covered my mouth with my palm.

Everything's a competition with these guys.

Bright with cheerfulness, I looked at Jayden and found him staring at me. The heat in his dragon eyes lit my cheeks on fire, and the longer he stared, the more my insides tightened. I felt my panties grow damp, which made my whole face burn red, and his lips twitched into a little smirk.

Bad dragon!I linked him.Do you know what you're doing to me?

Oh, yeah, sweetness. I most certainly do.His smirk hiked up higher. After last night, all I can think about is making you moan and squirm under me again.

Slamming the link shut, I ducked under Cole's arm and buried my hot face in his stomach.

"Posy?"

He sounded alarmed at first, then a quiet chuckle told me that Jayden, the rat, had linked him what was going on.

"Oh, hey. Leo Halder is awake," Ash said suddenly, and I sat up again. "Tyler is helping him drink some water and wants to know what he should do next."

"We'll go check on him," Ariel said.

Kissing Tristan's cheek, she stood, and her sister witches scooted off their mates' laps, too.

"We're coming along," Zayne and Zayden spoke together.

"We don't need any help," Sara told them as she leaned down and kissed Crew's forehead. "We can manage on our own, thank you."

"Actually, you can carry some things for us," Beatrix told them with a sweet smile.

They grinned and stood and squished her between them. I giggled, knowing that was probably going to be her default position for the rest of her life.

And she looks ecstatic about it,I thought with a grin.

Sara linked her elbow with Maria's and tried to tug her along, but Maria clung to Matthew's shoulders.

"One more kiss from Puppy," she begged.

Matthew smiled smugly at Sara, who rolled her eyes and left them to it.

"Puppy?" Queen Lilah snickered.

Inspired, I turned to Mason, who was still shoveling down pancakes. Before I could open my mouth, though, he shook his head.

"No."

"You didn't even look at me," I pouted.

"Because I am not going to fall victim to those big blue eyes. The answer is no."

With a huff, I turned to my other side, where Cole was taking a sip of his coffee. He turned to me, and I smiled widely.

"Cole—"

"Absolutely not, Posy."

"But I have nicknames for all my mates except you two." I pooched out my bottom lip.

"Keep thinking." He cupped my face in one hand and swiped his thumb over my lip. "Come up with something on your own rather than steal someone else's nickname, shortcake."

"Shortcake?!" I squeaked. "I'm not short!"
