Emerson had his fingers in Angelo's hair, and Angelo held Emerson's face in his palms.
They're so cute!I squealed to myself.
Then Wyatt tugged me inside.
"Welcome home!" He half-bowed and swept his arm forward. "Well, it's not home, but at least we're together."
"That's all I need for any place to be home." I stretched up and kissed him on the cheek.
Grinning, he leaned down and kissed me on the lips, making me feel warm and tingly all over.
Cole led me to an interior room that was probably a conference room on a normal day. Right now, though, a bunch of mattresses and pillows took up most of the space.
"We had to improvise, and this was the best we could do on short notice," Mason explained as he set my bag on the floor by the door, then dropped my duffel beside it.
"We remembered a night light!" Ash proudly displayed a plastic plug-in shaped like a unicorn before he went over to a receptacle and plugged it in. "Ta-da!"
"Thanks! It's so cute!" I clapped my hands.
"There's a bathroom right across the hall, and we put one in there, too," Jayden said. "Sorry you have to share with us."
"Oh, that's fine. I'll sacrifice having my own bathroom if it means I get to be with you."
"Aww!" Ash, Wyatt and Cole said together.
We made our individual trips to the bathroom and changed into night clothes. At least,Idid. The boys just stripped down to boxers like usual, although they put on fresh t-shirts. They were sorting out sleeping positions when I came back.
I watched them for a moment as I gathered myself. Taking a deep breath, I let it out slowly, then cleared my throat.
Five pairs of eyes swiveled to me. Twisting my hands nervously, I stood before them and told myself I could do it.
"Posy? You all right?" Jayden asked.
"I, ah, I want to tell you something."
"Sure, cutie. You can tell us anything," Wyatt assured me.
"Um, well, if you remember, I said I want to practice mating." Fire lit my cheeks and painfully spread over my whole face and down my throat. "So, uh, I'm ready. To practice."
They didn't say anything for a moment, just stared at me with wide eyes.
"So, um, after you told us that, the five of us had a talk." Mason scratched the back of his neck. "We agree that you should practice with Jay first."
"Did you—" I didn't want to believe it, but I knew my mates. "Did you Rock-Paper-Scissor it?!"
"No!" they all howled and looked outraged.
I tilted my head and gave them a 'Really?' look, which made them shuffle their feet.
"We thought about it, okay?" Wyatt admitted. "In case we couldn't reach a decision, that was our back-up plan."
"However, we came to a better conclusion," Cole said. "We realized that Jay has the best control, so he can be trusted to stay gentle and actually notice when - if - you're uncomfortable or ask him to stop. The rest of us can join in slowly if it works to do so, or wait and try again later if it doesn't."
Wracked with nerves, I nodded and my face turned even hotter. Ash came over, wrapped his arms around my shoulders, and tucked my head into his torso.
"It's awkward for us, too, Posy," he murmured. "We've never done this before, either, so don't be embarrassed. We'll figure it out together, okay?"
I nodded again and hugged his waist.
