"Again," I demanded in a husky tone when she came to a stop.
Grinning, she slowly spun around a second time, her pretty dress flaring at the knees.
"Baby, you are as pretty as a picture."
So in love with mate!Granite swooned with heart eyes. Our special girl.
He howled in happiness, which drew the attention of his brother wolves, and they all sang out ana-roo!as if we were running under the full moon. Lark joined in with an adorable baby howl, and Posy giggled.
"All right, people!" Mama clapped at us again. "We have photos to take before the heat wilts us all and Wyatt loses his suit coat."
"I'll still look better than everyone except for our cutie," I smirked and met Posy's laughter-filled eyes. "I mean, have you seen how good my hair looks today?"
"Your fluff is very cute, baby." Mom leaned up and kissed my cheek.
I scowled and wiped it off with the back of my hand.
"Sorry, Mom. I know I'm a handsome devil, but these cheeks are only for Posy's kisses."
"Is that right?" Her eyes turned ice-cold as she leaned closer and whispered, "Lambo."
"Okay, okay! Sheesh. You're scary when you're pregnant." Turning my face, I lowered my cheek and let her give me another kiss.

Posy
We finished taking the last of the formal photos outside and headed back to the house. As we walked, the boys started horsing around, although carefully. Mom and Mama had warned them to keep their suits immaculate - I didn't know what that word meant, but I could guess - and they were trying, but I could see they were getting bored and antsy.
Five competitive alphas with free time and nothing to do was just asking for trouble. Fortunately, Dad trotted up to us before they found it.
"Posy," he said, leading me off to the side, "your brothers are here."
All the air rushed out of my lungs and my heart stalled before it kicked into high gear.
"They are?" I gasped.
I knew they were coming; I'd called and invited them myself - the first time I'd talked to them since I left Green River. So why was I reacting like this?
Dad raised one hand as if he wanted to touch my shoulder, then caught himself, clenched his fingers in a fist, and let his hand drop.
"I put them in the living room. Is that okay?" he asked.
Swallowing on the hard knot of emotion in my throat, I nodded.
"Posy? What's going on?" Mason was suddenly at my side, his big hand spanning the small of my back.
I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. Closing it, I stared up at Dad.
"Her brothers are here," he said for me.
Mason's body stiffened and a low growl rumbled out of his chest.
"You didn't know they were coming?" Dad frowned, his eyebrows drawing together.
"We did," Mason bit out.
"No one seems happy about it," Dad pointed out.
