"Hi, luna," the Breckenridge twins said in unison.
"Hi, twinnies! Your bathing suits are lovely."
"We bought you a suit, too," Peri said, then leaned closer to whisper in my ear, "but you don't have to wear it or go swimming if you don't want to."
I nodded, grateful for her consideration.
With the twins in tow, Peri took me around and introduced me to so many younger brothers that I forgot half of their names as soon as she said them. Only Winnie and William stuck in my memory because I'd already seen pictures of them and had heard so much about them.
And they were even more adorable than the boys had warned me they were.
"They're little devils behind those cherub cheeks," a deep, familiar voice came from behind me.
Whirling around, I saw Nathan Barlow, aka Dad, and I felt my cheeks turn pink.
"I can't believe that," I murmured and lowered my eyes.
"Oh, little luna, you will once you get to know them better!" he chuckled.
William and Winnie threw themselves at him, and he caught one under each thick, tattooed arm.
"Come on, little wolves," he said. "Let's swim before cake!"
"Cake?" William's little face lit up as he dangled under his father's arm.
"After swim?" Winnie asked in his adorable baby voice.
"Yeah, cake after swimming, my babies," Dad told them, and they both cheered.
As they walked away, Callie sighed and leaned on her sister's shoulder.
"Don't they make you want a pup?"
"Need a mate first, sissy," Keeley sighed.
"What about you, luna?" Callie asked. "Now that you're fully mated to the alphas, are you planning a pup at your first heat?"
Panicking, I held up both hands and waved them as my face burned like fire.
"I'm not ready for that," I stammered. "The boys aren't, either."
"Then it's good to wait until you all are," Keeley said.
"And there's no shortage of babies to play with in the pack," Callie laughed.
The three girls smiled at me, and I started to relax again.
Well, until Mama and Mom descended.
They were really nice and sweet, though, and dragged me to sit with them in a quiet corner as the rest went into the massive swimming pool.
"I haven't seen Mase so relaxed in a very long time." Mama suddenly sniffed, alarming me. "You've made him so happy, luna."
"I haven't done anything," I murmured and stared at my clasped hands. "And please, call me Posy."
"You are perfect forallour sons, Posy," Mom said. "Wyatt needs a mate to mature. Jayden needs a mate to help him with Quartz. Cole needs a mate to tame his temper. Ash needs a mate to keep him grounded. And Mase—"
She sighed and shook her head, then looked over at Mrs. Price.
