Relief made me almost boneless as I slumped against him. Then Cole was there. He picked me up and held me like a baby.

"You opened up to us. You were comfortable enough tocomplain."

He shoved his face in my throat, and I felt something wet on my skin.

Lots of other arms suddenly wrapped around both of us as my mates squashed us in a group hug. Their delicious scents surrounded me and sparks danced all over my skin.

"I love you all," I murmured.

"We love you, too, Posy." Cole raised his head and kissed my nose. "So, so much."

Each of my mates kissed me either on the forehead or cheek and told me how much they loved me. My pulse picked up as I felt their hands rub my arms and legs and back.

We their life now, Posy. Lark preened under their attention.

I know, wolfie, and they are ours.

Julian and I caught each other's eyes as the alphas squished Posy in a group hug, and I knew we were both thinking the same thing.

"Let's go into the living room," I murmured, and Julian pulled out my chair for me.

We made ourselves comfortable on the plush couches, me on Julian's lap and Gisela on Luke's. Ranger sprawled in solitary splendor on the chaise lounge, turned on the television, and found a baseball game. I snuggled in Julian's chest, inhaling his delicious scent, and he tightened his arms around me.

"Happy, sweetheart?" His warm breath in my ear made me all quivery inside.

"Yes. Are you?"

"More than you can imagine."

—lo? Hello? Hello?

"Oh." I sat up straight with a little jolt.

"Lilah? What is it, darling?"

I held up one index finger.

Kestrel?

Tired, Li. So tired.

It’s okay. Our mate found us. His wolf, Onyx, is dying to meet you, but they both understand. You can rest, all right? For as long as you need to. They’ll take care of us.
