“Don’t beg for my cock, baby. I give it to you freely. I should be begging you.” Suddenly, he flips us, and my back hits the pillows. Dravyn scoops one of my legs up, looping it over his arm as he pushes inside of me in one swift motion. My mouth opens in a silent scream, all gentleness thrown out the window as he fucks me in earnest. His cock fills every inch of me as he pulls out slowly, leaving just his tip inside, then, he slams back into me, hard.
“Dravyn! Dravyn!” I chant his name, not caring who can hear me. He lifts my hips higher, as his thrusts deepen, hitting me in the right spot. I search for my invisible man, only the sound of his moans fills the room as he claims me as his. I feel my orgasm building, his cock begins to expand, tightening inside of me further. I squeeze my eyes tight against the pain, opening my legs wider to accommodate. My body is on automatic pilot as it readies itself for more, but my brain is rushing to catch up.
“Oh, fuck! Cordelia! Baby, look at me.” Dravyn stills inside of me. My eyes open, meeting his violet ones as he stares down at me in concern.
“What’s wrong?” I ask breathlessly, lifting my hips, encouraging him to move.
“I’ve never done this before,” he says as he drops his forehead to mine. My brows knit together in confusion.
“Dravyn. You don’t fuck like you don’t know what you’re doing. So, a virgin you are not,” I say with a soft smile, reaching up to touch his face, finally able to see all of him. His pale skin is a stark contrast to mine as the firelight bathes him in a warm glow.
“I don’t want to hurt you. My knot is forming, and if we keep going—”
“Oh,” I say as I cut him off. My conversation with the guys comes flooding back. Everything I know so far works its way to the forefront of my mind. “You won’t hurt me. This is new to both of us. I don’t want to stop.” He lifts his head and locks eyes with me. I know the ramifications of going into heat and what that could lead to, but in this moment, it’s just us. My body wants all of my mates, and I would want this with any one of them.
“I want your knot, Dravyn. Give it all to me.” Our lips crash passionately. I open up to him completely, and he starts to move again. The pleasure and pain wash over me as he thrusts his expanding cock inside of me completely. My head drops back, and I moan long and loud. I come undone. I come until I blackout and regain my senses and come again. I have never been so completely full in my life. Dravyn calls out my name as he finds his release, spilling his seed inside of me, and I take it all. Circling his hips, Dravyn’s cock touches every sensitive nerve and I come again. I sob from the overwhelming feelings pouring over me. I’m breathless and panting. He kisses me tenderly, our bodies still joined, the weight of this moment brings tears to my eyes, and Dravyn quickly wipes them away.
“I love you, Cordelia. I’ve loved you for a long time, baby. I think I loved you before I knew you. My love for you freed me. It allowed me to break free of the binds that held me captive. I am yours, always.” He kisses me deeply. His words and touch send another orgasm tearing through me.
“I love you too!” I cry out. “Oh, God. Dravyn, I love you,” I say once more as he moves inside of me, giving me more of himself. We stay locked this way for what feels like hours. When his knot eases, we change positions and start all over again. My body craves more, and he obliges all night long until we both collapse well and truly sated.
CHAPTERSEVENTEEN
GALE
Ican hear Adrian’s Dragon roar from somewhere outside. Just before we walked into the palace Dragons crash and collide in aerial battles. Elemental magic is blasting through the sky, all of them are accounted for except fire. She is missing out. This is all done for her in her name, and she can’t see it. The city of Saphir is a scene of chaos as those who want to fight took to the streets and bear arms to reclaim our Realm. It didn’t take long for our people to answer our call. As instructed, they came during the night in secret, ascending the mountains ofKaelumain droves. My pride swelled as the numbers grew as the late night turned to early morning. Torin rallied them to us. His voice boomed over the crowd like a true leader, the role he ran from all these years, he gave our people a reason to fight. Adrian and I stood on either side of him, two pillars silently lending him our strength as he speaks to the people about Cordelia.
“Our queen is alive. She called to us, her mates, and we answered.” Audible gasps could be heard amongst them, then came claps and cheers. Whispers of freedom could also be heard on the wind as some took her sudden appearance as the sign they needed to fight. Torin continued, even as their voices rose higher. “What we do, we do in her name. The Fae aren’t helping us! Our land is dying, our mountains are crumbling, and our oceans are beginning to recede. If Maurelle has her way, we will lose everything. Just like Bestia!” The anger of the crowd is palpable.
I look at Torin as he smiles wide, almost manically, as he’s finally able to tell our people the truth. Thaddeus told us to lie them, but no more. “Maurelle continues to try and weaken us. She has taken our queen, but fear not, the Red Dragon will grace our skies again. Cordelia will breathe life back into our lands and bring us back from the brink of extinction. So, as the sun comes up and we make our way down the mountain, remember, we are Dragons. There will be no unnecessary killing but strike down those who mean to do you harm. Who mean to do our queen harm. Who want to continue to hurt our land, and by proxy, harm Arcadia itself.” The crowd roared. If that didn’t hype them up and give them the motivation they needed, nothing will. Short, sweet, and definitely to the point.
“This has been too easy!” Torin screams out his frustration, wiping his hands down his face as he zeros his attention on our captive. “Where are they? Where is he?” Torin yells at the cowering man before us, bringing me back to the present. We are standing in the large circular council room, the room where all this began. Most of the Black Barons were taken captive and held for Cordelia to decide what to do with them. But as we moved further and further into the castle, we were never intercepted by Thaddeus or his now suspected Fae guardians that surround him. That was a bit of a shock to Torin and me. I guess that explains why they all wear hooded black robes, so we can never tell their true identity. This is all a big grand deception. The man on the floor, beaten and bloody, whimpers as Torin stands over him.
“If I were you, I would tell him what he needs to know. Just tell us where your cowardly leader is.” I slowly cross the room to stand next to Torin. My hand flexes over the knife sheath in my shoulder holster. The man whimpers and sinks down lower. If he goes any lower, he will melt into the marble.
“Lord Thaddeus’s location is none-none of your concern-usurpers.” He has the nerve to sneer at us as he calls us usurpers. This is just too much. I laugh. I laugh so loudly my laughter echos off the walls of the cavernous room eerily.
“He’s no Lord, he is a powerless hack who let the promise of power override his better judgment. That’s if he had any to begin with. But tell me, since you want to play “faithful lapdog” where is the power he was promised all those years ago?” Torin squats in front of the man as snot and blood run down his face. I turn away from the sight, I am so revolted. I’m still reeling over being called a usurper.
“He will get it,” the man mumbles, wiping his face with his robes. “He will receive it once she’s well and truly dead.” I turn back just in time to see Torin punch him square in the face. Fresh blood runs freely down the man’s nose as Torin takes out his anger.
“Tell! Me! Where! He! Is!” A punch stamps each word, making me want to confess for the poor excuse of a man. Torin throws him down to the floor and marches away. Clearly stopping himself from delivering a killing blow. The man sways as he tries to sit up but falls back to the ground like a wet noodle. I smile. It won’t take much, and he will crack like a nut. He just needs a tiny bit more pressure. I guess it’s my turn now, or I could hand him over to Adrian, he’s been in his Dragon form all day. No, scratch that, he might just eat him. No, this takes a little more finesse. I sigh as I make my way toward him, pulling my knives out as I go, whistling a children’s tune as I head over to him. Torin turns his head around, and I wink at him.
“Gale?” He raises his eyebrows in question as I twirl my knives around in a circle. It has been so long since they’ve seen any kind of action. I mean, I am not a violent man, unless in Dragon form, I’m practically a kitten. Well, maybe not a kitten.
“You need me to do what I do best. Let me finish this. You go ahead and do some leader shit, and I will get what we need from this bastard.” Before he opens his mouth to reply, two of Adrian’s men distract him, and so I am forgotten. All alone, just me and my prey. I smile slowly, rubbing my hands together. Giddy.
I bend down and grab him by the hood of his robes and drag him to the center of the room. I sit him in the center seat, the seat meant for their so-called Lord. The other chairs form a semi-circle around the room, all vacant, so it will just be myself who will pass judgement. The asshole tries to slide out of the chair, but I stop him quickly, raising one of my knives to his throat. I lean into it just enough to draw blood. He whimpers, pushing himself as far back in the chair as he can go.
“Now, I will only ask you this once. If you don’t answer me, I will start to remove parts of your body. The parts that offend me the most will go first. So, be honest, and you can join the other treasonous assholes downstairs. But, if you lie, well, I won’t be responsible for my actions. Please don’t let me have to get bloody.” I pat his cheek with the knife clutched tight in my hand. I smile wide as his eyes track my every movement.
“Now, where the fuck is Thaddeus, peckerhead? One simple question.” I throw my arms out wide, pointing my blades at him, then step back and let my hands rest at my sides, tapping my knives on my thighs.
Grabbing the arms of the chair, he looks like he swallows around a lump in his throat. “He—there’s a portal,” he whispers. I step into his space when he doesn’t continue.
“I’m listening.” I stand. “Torin, he says there is a portal.”Torin turns, dismissing the guards, and walks toward me slowly, yet staying out of sight.“We have all the portals guarded. He’s lying.”I nod my head. “I don’t know if you are telling me the truth. There are no portals that we don’t have guarded. We would have seen him move.” Before he can say anything else, I slice through his lips so fast that he doesn’t realize what’s happening until the blood begins to pour from the vertical slit. He looks at me with his eyes open wide in shock. Well, I warned him. Of course, he screams.
Sobbing, holding his mouth, the fuckface decides to get chatty. “In the Barren Lands, he took a portal from there.” Well, this is just interesting. I look up at Torin, who is listening from the other side of the room, and he is just as shocked as I am. “There is no magic in the Barren Lands, so how could he take a portal from there? Where does the portal go?” I ask, sensing that I’ve finally got his attention, I sheath my beauties. You got to have finesse.
