“That’s yesterday’s news.Today I’m free and I’m on the market.”

“Kyle.Stay away from my secretary.I don’t want any problems. He’s a good worker and I don’t have time to spend training anyone else.”I saw the look in Kyle’s eyes and I knew I would have trouble.

Sometime during the flight I fell asleep and so did Justin. We were two guys who didn’t know when and how to relax.I kept working through all my sadness and seeing my company through some of the worst times. It was more than once I thought my company would go under, but the new people my HR department hired, got my company back on track. There was word around my building that one of the newly hired was responsible for millions of dollars of sales on line as well as in the department store.

When I got back to my Texas store, I was going to personally give him his bonus check. My attention focused back to Kyle and then I noticed that Don was missing. Then I turned to see Kyle sauntering out of the bathroom with his clothes in disarray and found his way back to his seat.

I turned to grimace at him.“You never listen do you?Did I not tell you to leave Don alone?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“You could have wiped that cum from your lips.”Kyle eyes opened wide and he passed his thumb over his lips.

“That was a rooky mistake. It’s a good thing I didn’t grow that beard I’d been threatening to do.Do you think I’d look good in a beard?”he asked, changing the subject. He did that a lot when I caught him doing things he shouldn’t, like having sex in my jet bathroom with my secretary.

“I’d say it was a mistake, and no, you wouldn’t look good with a beard, if only to keep you from looking stupid every time you suck a man’s cock, you’ll forget that a beard catches what your mouth doesn’t.”

“Yeah, you’re right.I think I look pretty good the way I am now.”

“With or without the cum?”Kyle shot me a tight twisted mouth.“You’re just jealous.”

“You should know better, but I’ll forgive that comment this once.I’m going to pay your way back to Houston, my dear friend, and when I return after my holiday, I’m going to sell that soul-sucking monster of a house and the one you occupy, and I’m staying in Dallas, so I don’t need you to house sit for me, or fuck my secretary.”

I’d glanced over and saw Don returning to his seat, and he obviously had cleaned up and changed his shirt. If Don wasn’t loyal to his partner, he was efficient and I didn’t have to sleep with him, therefore if he did his job which he had for years, then I didn’t have a problem. The captain had announced for us to buckle our seats and prepare for landing.

Justin was sitting at the back and he hadn’t taken off his seat belts even to eat.Now he was asleep, and he might have taken something for his anxiety.I thought he was afraid of flying that was why he owned a jet just to fly in clients.A man who owned and worked on the fastest cars in the world would race them going in excess of two hundred miles an hour would be afraid of flying.I couldn’t figure that one out.

Kyle tapped me on the shoulder, “Cam, do you mean what you just said?”

“Which part?”I questioned as I turned to face him and put down my phone.I was checking my messages and to see if Sabastian had sent me a text.I knew I should have contacted him and apologized a year ago, but I was hoping he’d do it first.I guessed it was just as Kyle had said.

“All of it,” Kyle said with a narrow glance, furrowed brow, and a look of frustration covering his face.

“You know me well enough to know I don’t say things I don’t mean.”

“You are too...too.“ Kyle didn’t complete his sentence because he did know me and if he’d said the wrong thing that would be it.Our friendship would come to an abrupt end.

“What do you want to say Kyle?”I asked.

“You shouldn’t have treated that young boy the way you did.”Where did that come from?I didn’t expect he’d make this about Sabastian. He knew how I felt about that situation.“You’re going to lose a lot of good people in your life by being so exact. You have to bend a little, because not everyone is perfect some men are like me.I said I was sorry, Cam—”

“Please, don’t call me Cam.”

That name hit me hard, and I could see and feel Sabastian’s body on mine, his hard long length burrowing down inside me hitting my prostate. My mind spun out of control and brought me to that moment, and I could smell him, and hear his voice in my head, when he said, “I want you so bad, Cam.I need this.I need you,” he leaned and whispered in my ear. He didn’t realize he was speaking the words I should have said to him, but instead in a matter of moments I would crash and burn a beautiful relationship because I was looking for something that had been lost.Lost with Brett, and I needed to form a new bond with a man I finally connected with after years of loneliness and need.

“Why don’t you want me to call you Cam.It’s not like I haven’t called you that before.”I didn’t answer but glared at him.“Because it makes you feel something for the person?”I scowled at Kyle.

“No, because Sabastian and Brett called me Cam.”

“See what I mean. You only want the men you love and adore to call you Cam.Why can’t I do the same. We’ve been friends forever.”

“Look, Kyle, I understand what you’re doing and what you said was the truth.I’m not too inflexible where I can’t recognize the truth when I hear it.You were right when you said I’m not going to send you back to Houston, but stay away from Don.He has a job to do and for god’s sake, leave Justin alone. He’s here to take a break, and he doesn’t need you trying to entice him with your expertise whatever that is.Now let’s get off this jet and enjoy New York. You may never get here again unless you pay for it, and we know how cheap you are.”

When we landed, our bags were being loaded into the Cadillac SUV.Justin was still somewhat drowsy, therefore, I asked Don to help him inside the car.Kyle stayed his distance from Don and Justin. He sat up front with the driver, and who knew what kind of arrangements he’d made with him, but I think I lucked out, only if the man was straight and the way he sat close to the door, he probably was.

We pulled up to the Four Seasons on East 57th street, on billionaires’ row, and everyone stepped out and looked up.
