Now it was my turn to wait on tenterhooks.

“Depends, are you willing to share them? Are they all as hot as they sound?” I laughed. I could definitely get used to having a bi boyfriend.

“Even hotter. But I’m not sure they swing that way.” Well, Brody didn’t mind sharing, but I didn’t think he’d want to be the meat in the sandwich. And Walker, there was no way, I couldn’t even imagine him being open to sharing me at all. Though he didn’t seem to mind watching. Heat flooded to my core as I remember his face as he watched Judge bang me silly. Actually, Judge didn’t seem so perturbed about Brody being in his space either. Maybe he was keeping more than one secret from me too. Apparently, I was oblivious to anyone else's attraction other than my own, Tex was proof of that.

I felt Tex’s Adam's apple bob against my face. “What are you thinking about, Mika?”

Crap, crap. Couldn’t at least one of my love interests have normal senses? “Nothing. I think you are out of luck with the Sheriff, and Brody might share. I’m not sure about Judge. He’s a bit of a mystery in more ways than one. Can’t hurt to ask, right?”

Tex scoffed. “The guy is a vampire. It could hurt very much to ask.” He leaned down and kissed me like I was on the silver screen, slightly bent back, being devoured in the best possible way. It left me breathless, even though I didn’t really need to breathe regularly. “What’s he like? What do any of them look like? Sometimes I feel like I’m cursed. I mean, I only think I know what you look like. I’ll never know the color of your lips, or your hair or what your face looks like when you come in my arms.”

I sucked in a breath. “You might not know what color my lips are, but you know how they taste when you kiss me, and how they feel when I kiss you right here,” I murmured, placing a kiss on the hard edge of his jaw. And then another one on his throat. His pulse beat against my lips, and I dragged in oxygen as I moved my aching fangs away from that spot. I kissed the edge of his collarbone that peeked out the neck of his t-shirt. “And you mightn’t know what I look like when I come, but you know the noises I make when you give me pleasure, how I feel when my body shudders around yours.”

“Mika…” he groaned, his hand dipping down to grab my ass. “I want you to bite me.”

Someone laughed from behind me. “Well, that would be a freakin’ terrible idea, Rainy Day. Especially not when Lover Boy just got interesting.”

I whirled around, crouching, the predator ready to attack in defense of her Mate. But I relaxed when it was just Judge. “Geez, Judge. Make a noise next time. How long have you been standing there?”

Behind me, Tex was like a statue.

“Oh, long enough.” Judge sauntered over like he was a big cat, all swagger and confidence. He stopped in front of Tex and grabbed his wrist. He wasn’t gentle, and I held back a hiss. I didn’t think Judge would hurt Tex, but I couldn’t be sure. Judge was an enigma, his easy-going nature a facade that held a predator a million times more dangerous than mine.

A part of me expected him to break Tex’s wrist or something, but instead, he lifted Tex’s hand to his face. “You wanted to know what I looked like,” he murmured, and I realized Judge had been standing there a lot longer than either of us knew. I held my breath as Tex held his hand stiffly until Judge’s hand curled over the top. He moved it to the small scar on his cheek. “I got this scar in a knife fight. I won.” He didn’t sound cocky about it though. He moved Tex’s hand to his nose, tracing his fingertips down the crooked bumps of it. “My wife in my human life broke my nose here. Hit me with a frying pan when I came home drunk one night.” He shifted it down a little lower. “This one was from a fight with my neighbor.” He moved Tex’s hand to his jaw, to a puckered scar that I’d tasted with my tongue too many times to count now. “I got that one as a vamp. Ash blade when someone tried to behead me. I almost bled out, which is why it didn’t heal properly.”

Tex was still so rigid, but his face was heartachingly hopeful. God, I hoped Judge knew what he was doing right now. Judge moved his hand away, but pressed his cheek tighter into Tex’s hand, a silent invitation to continue.

Tex traced his fingers over the hard lines of Judge’s face. I found myself studying Judge harder, not just taking in the beauty of his face, but dissecting it. The peak of his hairline, the scars that littered his face, making him look dangerous and mysterious. When Tex ran his thumb over Judge’s full lower lip, I almost came right there in my big girl panties. Judge slid his eyes toward me and raised an eyebrow, telling me everything I wanted to know.

He’d heard everything. I should feel annoyed that he’d invaded our privacy like that, but right now, lust was winning out against indignation. When Judge nipped at Tex’s thumb, causing him to hiss, I was about three seconds from throwing myself at them.

I forced myself to stay rooted to the spot. Tex lifted his other hand, and pressed it hard into Judge’s face, his thumbs running along the line of his cheekbones, cupping the knife-edge points of his jaw.

“Are you satisfied now?” Judge said in a low, purring voice. Oh damn.

Tex shook his head. “Not yet.”

Judge let out a chuckle that was one hundred percent sex, a hint of danger edging his words. “Hmm, what is stopping you then?”

I was watching them so intently that I could see the rapid rise and fall of Tex’s chest as his hands drifted down over the columns of Judge’s neck. They were similar heights, almost within an inch of each other, Tex just being a tad taller. He tentatively ran his fingers lower, barely brushing the muscles of Judge’s chest, as if he was worried he would get burned.

I had to admit, this whole situation had the potential to burn us all.

Tattooed fingers drifted lower, over his pecs and when his fingertips brushed across Judge’s nipples, the vampire hissed, making us all tense. He swallowed hard but nodded at me. I could see the heat in his eyes.

“Keep going. Can you sense how much this is turning our girl on right now? Rainy Day is about to live up to her name over there. Wetter than monsoon season.”

I flipped him the bird, but I grinned because he wasn’t wrong. Tex’s hands slipped down Judge’s ribs, and over his abs. Judge’s nose flared, and he leaned into the touch a little, but that was the only sign he was being anything but hospitable. When Tex’s hands got to the waistband of Judge’s jeans, I was going to explode. His hands stilled their exploration, and we all stood there as if we were waiting for a bomb to go off.

Judge struck like a python, his hand gripped the dark strands of Tex’s hair and slammed their mouths together.

Holy fucking shit on a dinner plate.

I sucked in a gasp as they kissed. It wasn’t the way they kissed me, which was all soft and tender, even when Judge was being rough. No, they kissed like they were fighting for control like they were in a battle. Tex gripped the front Judge’s shirt, and I couldn’t tell if he was trying to push him away or pull him closer. It was frantic and feral, and I was about to come right on the spot.

As if he could sense the direction of my thoughts, Judge’s hand whipped out and grabbed me, pulling me closer.

He dragged his mouth away, “Can you taste her need in the air, Human?” he growled.
