Needing air, Ezra slid back, breathed, then took Alaric deep again. He watched as Alaric’s eyes rolled back into his head. He still had his hand on Ezra’s throat.
This was flat out the hottest experience of his life. Ezra’s own dick was already hard again—a record. He couldn’t help it. Knowing he was bringing this man so much pleasure, knowing he’d surprised him, that Alaric was losing himself to rapture…that now familiar rush hit. He could easily become addicted to this. All of this.
He started bobbing his head, keeping a tight suction, and like Alaric had before, he slid his fingers over Alaric’s balls, then cupped them.
Alaric made a strangled noise, then gasped, Hot cum flooded Ezra’s mouth. Ezra swallowed the bitter, yet slightly sweet, semen with relish. Then he was startled when powerful hands yanked him up into another kiss.
Damn, he loved the way Alaric kissed. With hunger and ferocity, his tongue spearing deep into Ezra’s mouth, his hands possessively cupping his neck. Ezra felt ravished, and he fucking loved it.
When they pulled away from each other to breathe, Alaric pressed their foreheads together and whispered. “You are way too good at that. I’ll have my dick down your throat all the time.”
“Guess it’s good I like it there then.”
He laughed and pressed another quick kiss to Ezra’s lips. “So you are going to date me after we get through this, right?”
Ezra thought about his earlier reservations and knew that even though he was going to be in for a world of pain, he had to at least try. “Yes,” he whispered.
Chapter Fourteen
Ezra
Ezra was in the kitchen making coffee the next morning when Alaric, Finn, and Bain walked into the room. He lifted his eyebrows at how serious they all looked. “Am I in trouble or something? I mean, more than, you know, having a hit on my head?”
“Xavier called,” Alaric said as he rested his hands on the island. “He’s on his way here with Callan. Said he has news that we all need to hear.”
“Oh,” Ezra looked down at the decanter he held before setting it down carefully. His hands had started to shake. “That doesn’t sound like it’s good news.”
Alaric walked around the island and pulled Ezra into a hug. “Whatever it is, we’ll all be ready.”
“You owe me five bucks,” Finn said.
Ezra looked at the jinn to find him holding out his hand to Bain, who shook his head and laughed.
“I didn’t take that bet. I already knew these two were into each other.” Bain, who looked like a creamsicle in an orange flowing shirt and white jeans, pulled out his phone. “Speaking oflove interests, I need to call mine.” He walked out of the room as he made the call.
“I’m surrounded by romance,” Finn said with a frown. “Better not be catching.”
“Ignore them,” Alaric said as he let go of Ezra and finished making the coffee.
“Oh, I am.” Ezra popped a bagel into the toaster. He was starving after he’d stayed up late with Alaric talking the night before. They hadn’t shared anything important, just talked about movies they’d seen as well as favorite bands. He’d been delighted to learn that Alaric’s music tastes were as diverse as his own.
And Alaric had given him a goodnight kiss that had stayed with him into his dreams.
All of it felt rather surreal. He still couldn’t believe the elf was that interested in him, not when he’d mostly been a complete shit to him. But nobody could fake the kind of desire he’d felt in Alaric yesterday. Even now, the memory of their intimacy made his cheeks heat.
When his bagel was done, he took it along with a cup of coffee into the living room, only to see that the others had already arrived. Bain and Finn were seated on the couch, but his gaze immediately whipped toward the largest preternatural he’d ever seen. Massive horns jutted out from the being’s head, and his skin was a dusky gray color. Bulging muscles filled out a tight black T-shirt that matched the hair around those horns. He was unbelievably tall, at least six foot eight. Anger poured off him in waves, making Ezra take a step back.
“Callan may look frightening, but he won’t hurt you,” Alaric murmured from behind him.
“Looks pretty pissed.”
“He’s angry at life in general. It’s not you. He’s also one of the best protectors Xavier has and will watch over you with complete devotion. He’s a Cambion demon.”
“I don’t know what that is.”
“Offspring between a demon and a human. Normally, they tend to work for criminals, but Callan is a good guy. Very. Don’t let his disgruntled expression get to you. Like I said, it’s just the way he is.”
Ezra looked at the other man in the room and drew in a sharp breath. Like Bain and Alaric, he was absolutely beautiful, with long black hair that fell around handsome features. He looked completely human, too. But he somehow felt like…more. Ezra got the feeling he was the most powerful preternatural in the room. This had to be Xavier, the owner of Protective Solutions.
