“My dick is soaked with you, baby… You feel like heaven.” I squeeze her throat until her face flushes a shade darker, her smile broader. “You like that?” I breathe out.
“I love it,” she moans. “The best necklace I’ve ever worn…”
Holy. Fuck.
Every day she weaves a little more of herself into my being, into my life, stealing my senses and my reservations as well as my sanity.
I let go of her throat and push her hair off her face. Sweaty, skin on fire, she watches me, her eyes hooded with her almost-there orgasm, and fuck, if this isn’t the most beautiful sight in the world.
“I’m coming.” She throws her head back as her insides spasm, pulsating until I explode too.
When my breathing calms, I kiss her again. It’s slow and gentle—the total opposite of how we started.
“You like to be on top,” I say.
“Yes.”
“Is this your favorite position?”
“No, but you’re about to find out what is,” she answers playfully. “And, uh”—she tucks her chin and focuses on my lap—“I think I ruined your sweatpants.”
“If it means I get to see you like this again, wild and unpredictable, you can ruin all my clothes. Don’t be afraid to be a mess for me, baby.”
Cradling her face, I kiss her again, just to feel her mouth on mine.
“I didn’t expect you to listen or beg…or to crawl,” Bella confesses once our lips part. “But you were a good boy. You did exactly as you were told.”
This woman. She’s trying to get a rise out of me. She’s goading me into doing what she wants. I could easily teach her a lesson, but why should I?
Standing, I grip her ass and haul her up with me.
She wraps her legs around my hips and clings to my neck. “Where are we going?”
With a swat to her ass, I say, “To my bedroom.”
“And what are we going to do there?”
“You’re going to sit on my face, and you’ll scream my name as loud as you can while I make you come.”
CHAPTER27
WHERE’S BELLA?
XANDER
October
Fuck,I can’t wait to get home and take a hot shower. Practice went well, and the whole team is pumped for Sunday’s game against Miami. Their record is similar to ours, so it’ll be tough, but we are determined to win.
This season, the Super Bowl will be ours. I can feel it.
I slip my hoodie over my head while Drew Carter talks about his plans to go to the movies with his wife. He’s our middle linebacker, and so far, he’s the closest thing I have to a friend on this team. Garcia’s a good guy too, but his bond with Miller is a big red flag for me.
As much as I hate that the entire team thinks Jake and I are old friends, I’ll keep the lie going, for Bella’s sake.
“Garcia. We going out tonight?”
My teeth grind at the sound of Miller’s voice. He has dark circles under his eyes, and he looks like he’s lost weight since Bella left two weeks ago. Since then, he’s only gotten more aggressive and vile, even to his teammates.
