Me

Anything I can do to help?

Riley

Me

Riley

Thanks for the space the other day.

I appreciate it.

Me

How are you feeling tonight?

Riley

Like I want to rail you.

Me

Ew. Yeah. I see what you mean. Let’s never use that again.

Riley

Thank god.

Me

Come over? I made pasta, and I have an extra plate.

Riley

Calling a rideshare right this second.

Me

See you soon, Mitchy.

I openthe door before Riley has a chance to knock. His hand hovers in midair, and I smile when he looks from his fist to me.

“Expecting someone?” he asks, and I tug on his shirt to drag him into my foyer.

“You, you idiot,” I murmur, kissing him and wrapping my arms around his neck.

I saw him a few days ago, but a jolt of electricity still rips through me when he palms my ass with his large hand and shuffles me backward until my shoulder blades press against the wall. I hiss and drop my head back, eyes fluttering closed when he curls his fingers around my wrists and lifts them above my head.
