“That was such an amazing movie!” Autumn gushes as we drive home, her face alight with happiness as she smiles at me from the passenger seat.
“I’m glad you liked it. It’s one of my top five movies,” I reply, unable to take my eyes off her.
I love her like this when she’s so happy that she can’t contain it.
“I think it’s up there for me.”
“What are your top three movies then?” I ask her.
“Erm…” She thinks “Lord of the Ringsobviously,End of WatchandThe Lion King. What about you?”
“Good choices. I have too many favorites to choose butGladiator, Ready Player One,andInterstellarare the first ones that come to mind.”
“Such a nerd,” Autumn jokes, the little twinkle in her eye as she does, making a smile break out on my face.
“I’ll remember that when you are saying my name like it’s a prayer before you pass out from so many orgasms.”
“Is that a threat or a promise?” She retorts.
“Both Sunshine.”
Our teasing is cut short as I pull into her driveway.
I know we have the rest of tonight to ourselves, and I can't wait to get my girl alone even if it’s just snuggling for the rest of the night. Just having her in my arms is enough.
“You cannot be telling me that you preferThe Return of the KingoverThe Two Towers!” Autumn gasps dramatically, clutching her pretend pearls, and throws herself backward into the sofa pillows.
“I am. The third movie was a classic!” I argue laughing as she acts wounded by my choice.
“We’re breaking up! I cannot be with such an uncultured man,” she deadpans, still splayed out over the pillows, her blonde hair a halo around her.
“Take that back,” I order, taking the opportunity to launch myself on top of her and tickle her sides.
“Never!” she gasps out between giggles, thrashing herself side to side to try to dislodge me.
“Take it back, Sunshine. Otherwise, you won’t like what I do next.”
“Ooooo, I’m so scared,” her tone mocking but her smile gives away her happiness.
“That’s it. Now I need to escalate to more extreme circumstances.”
“You wouldn’t. You can’t get much more extreme than tickling, to be honest. I think you are just as unhinged as Dominic.”
“You wound me, Autumn. That’s two.”
“Two what?” she asks, propping herself up on her elbows.
“You’ll see. Now take the insults back.”
“Nope,” She says, popping the P.
Leaving me no choice with her stubbornness, I get to my feet and tower over where she’s laid out.
Latching onto her ankle, I drag her to the edge of the sofa and lean over her. My hand rests on the sofa beside her head while I use my other to trail my hand over her exposed stomach.
“Will you say sorry?” I ask once again, making my voice husky to try to distract her.
“Make me.”
