Page 32 of Chaos & Corruption

Webber wasn’t even home.

It wasn’t for show, it was for us.

She crawled onto my lap, wound her arms around my neck and gave me her mouth. It was fucking perfect and I couldn’t get enough. I had to ask my professor for an extension on one of the papers.

“Does her roommate not want you at their place?” Robinson asks.

“Oh, please,” Webber mutters. “That girl is probably happy to have the place to herself. She’s probably running a brothel over there.”

It’s the first time he’s brought Mila up to me and I go completely still at the mention of her. Then I realize this is my opening. Playing it cool, I shake my head.

“Still playing that same track, man? What the hell did that girl do to you?”

He shrugs his shoulders.

“Nothing, I wouldn’t touch that bitch with someone else’s dick.” He pauses and checks his phone. “But Robinson is right,” he continues, lifting his gaze back to me. “It’s odd you’re never at her apartment. Either Victoria doesn’t want you there because she’s afraid her friend will make a move on her man, or Mila doesn’t approve of your relationship.”

“I haven’t even met Mila, so that kills both your theories.”

His phone chimes and he glances back at the screen.

“I’ve got to go.” Grabbing his bag, he turns to me. “Oh, I put the condoms in the cabinet under the bathroom sink.”

“Thanks.”

“I also changed the lock on my door,” he reveals.

Shit.

“Guess who transferred into one of my classes?” Victoria asks, winding her arm around mine. After practice was over, I walked across campus to meet up with her. We were both done for the day and I was jonesing for a fix of Bianci.

Not to mention, I had to tell her what happened with Webber.

She leans close, her breath brushing against my ear.

“Jennings.”

I turn my head and look at her. Just the mention of that asshole’s name gets my blood boiling.

“Did he say anything to you?”

She shakes her head.

“He didn’t show up until the lecture was almost over. He did smile at me, though. I’m thinking tomorrow, I’ll strike up a conversation.”

I stop walking.

“No.”

“Alex—”

“I said no, Victoria. I’m leaving tomorrow night for the game and the last thing I need is to be worried about what you’re doing.”

She cocks her head and smiles slightly.

“Aww, you do care.”
