Their hands and lips roamed my body, and I closed my eyes, very aware of who was touching me where when Vargas moved to lie between my legs. Wilder and Penn turned their attention to my breasts, sucking, licking, and nipping while Vargas inserted two fingers inside me, his thumb rubbing my clit in slow, sensual circles. If this was just the foreplay, I’d never survive mating with all three of them. Or maybe, from the hunger I felt, I’d devour them. In the best way possible.
Then his fingers were gone, replaced with his cock, and he was inside me. I writhed, digging my fingers into his shoulders, held in place by the other two or I might have fallen off the bed. Vargas thrust deep inside me, whispering words of love, faster and faster, my slick coating him until he grasped my hips, lifted my lower body off the bed and poured his cum into my body. His knot grew, and I came with him before he lowered me to the bed and bent to sink his teeth into the side of my throat, making me orgasm again.
He held me close, they all did until his knot finally shrank and I demanded Wilder take his place, his own rhythm already familiar and comforting and intense at the same time. Each of them touched different places in my body, my heart and soul, and after Wilder moved aside, his mark on the other side of my throat, Penn turned me over and took me from behind, finding new places to stimulate inside me before he came and pierced the back of my neck to make his mark. I’d come so many times, I was soaked with sweat and unable to so much as move when Penn finally withdrew from me.
They covered me up and left then came and carried me into the bathroom where they’d drawn a bubble bath. An herbal scent tickled my nose. “What is that?”
“Healing herbs. You’ve been through a lot over the past ten hours.” Vargas kissed the top of my head. “We don’t want you to be uncomfortable.”
“Or raw,” Penn put in helpfully.
Sinking into the water, I rested my head on the bath pillow they’d considerately placed there before blinking at them. “Ten hours? Surely not.” I only remembered making love with each of them once. After that it was all a haze of pleasure and a little pain and begging them to do it again and again. Oh Goddess.
“It was. How are you feeling?” Wilder asked.
“Good.” I flexed my arms and legs. “Fine. A little tired like after a good workout. Are you guys okay?”
“Fine. And the heat?” he asked.
When we began, I’d been sweating and aching. As soon as I got back with my alphas, the heat had come roaring back. But now?
I did an internal search of my body and mind. “I think it’s gone. Oh that’s not good. What’s wrong?” Maybe I was like my sister, infertile. Had she even had heat symptoms? Had she tried that stimulator or whatever she was going to give me?
“Mate, shhh,” Penn said. “It’s very good. The best.”
I yawned, too tired to even think about what it might mean. If they said it was all good, I was ready to accept that as fact. My mates washed me carefully with soft cloths and sweet-smelling soap before drying me tenderly, carrying me off to bed, and crawling in after me. Right before I fell asleep, I heard Wilder say, “Cookies!”
Lily must have come in while we were in the bathroom and left some there. My mates would need their strength. My heat might be over, but my hunger from them was anything but.
Chapter Twenty-Seven
Vargas
I was hitting up the herb garden, grabbing some basil for dinner tonight, when I noticed a new rock in the bed. This one was painted like a little house—but the roof was made of flower petals. I didn’t know if it was a gnome home or a tiny fairy house, but Rumor did a beautiful job.
I loved finding her rocks in random places. I thought of them as little messages to let us know she was thinking of us. It was so good to have her back. Just thinking about when she was gone—even for that short period—made me shudder.
And now that she was here, marked, ours, I wanted to keep her in a bubble.
It wasn’t fair to her, of course. She wouldn’t want that. She told us as much. But that didn’t stop my wolf from thinking it was the safest option.
We’d built a little cabin behind the main house for Lily. She was always welcome in our home, too, but she never really had a place of her own before, and we wanted to give her that. We thought it had been hard getting Rumor to realize she didn’t have to do everything around here—but with Lily, it was triple the challenge.
She was getting there, though. And it was nice to see Rumor have a friend—someone to laugh with, to do each other’s hair, probably to talk about us… Whatever it was girls liked to do.
They were both happy. And, consequently, so were my mates and I.
Back in the kitchen, I started assembling the caprese salad—our mate’s favorite. The tomatoes were especially good this year. I sliced and layered them with the basil from the garden. It was the perfect combination.
We were throwing a birthday party for Rumor.
Only she didn’t know it yet.
Calling it a party might’ve been a stretch—it was just us. But I’d baked a cake and made all her favorite foods. We had presents. Not as many as I wanted to give but three very important ones. The ones we had for her before she even came to us. The ones that told her we’d been waiting. That she was ours.
She and Lily came in first, wearing matching sundresses Lily had made out of a bolt of fabric she’d picked up at the farmer’s market. They looked radiant.
Rumor crossed the room and pulled me in for a searing kiss. I didn’t think it was possible to ever get enough of our omega. When our lips came apart, I noticed Lily looking away, trying to give us some privacy. She was shy like that.
