IwokeuptoLily tangled in my arms; the sun shining down on us. Any other morning, it would have been beautiful. But it just reminded me of what she had dealt with last night.

I needed to find out who took her and why they wanted her gone. Last time I had checked, she had no ties left to theChicos del Lado Sur, The Southside Boys.

Closing my eyes, I felt Lily slowly climb out of bed and head toward the bathroom. I could hear Lily getting out of the shower as I headed toward the bathroom door.

Opening the door, I smiled, seeing her wrapped in my white towel.

“I could fucking get used to this view every morning, princess.”

She laughed as I tried to pull the towel away from her, stepping around me and heading back into my room.

“Get dressed. We have a busy day, Moose.”

I groaned as I leaned on the doorframe, watching as she dropped the towel.

“Fuck me. You can’t tease me like that, baby. I’ll be quick.”

“Nope. Go so I can get ready without distractions.”

I laughed as I stalked toward Lily and grabbed her, throwing her down on the bed.

“Princess.”

There was a knock on the bedroom door as I ran my hand up Lily’s leg.

“Daddy! I need Lily!”

I laid my head on her chest and laughed.

“I’ll be right out sweetie!”

She playfully shoved me off of her as I grabbed the robe, throwing it towards Lily. She walked out the door as I quickly got dressed and headed downstairs.

I made the kids’ lunches as Lily came down with Nova. We stood side by side as we got the kids ready for school. Once we were done, we headed out the truck hand in hand.

I could fucking get used to this.

Maddox grabbed the cord and plugged in his phone to play music. 2Pac’s song,Ambitionz Az a Ridahcame on and I turned it down.

“Maddox! Not appropriate!” Lily laughed, and I looked over to see her mouthing the words. “Lily? You know this song?”

She laughed again. “Moose. I grew up in the streets. Obviously I know 2Pac.”

I just shook my head as she turned it back up and rapped along with Maddox. He had a huge smile on his face as we pulled up to the school.

“Dad. Lily is so cool!”

I laughed as the parents watched in horror as Lily belted out the lyrics. The PTO moms rushed past the car as Lily just laughed.

When the song ended, I got out of the car with Lily and the kids and walked them up to the door. A scream made us all turn around and Lily stepped right in front of the kids.

Tessa came running up out of nowhere. “I fucking KNEW it! You are sleeping with that slut! How fucking dare you!”

Lily pushed the kids back as Tessa came flying up to us. Before I even knew what was happening, Lily and Tessa were on the ground fighting.

Lily clearly had the upper hand, and I ran over to put a stop to the madness. The police were already pulling up the school as I pulled the women apart.

Tessa tried to run toward Lily again, but I stepped in front of her as the police ran up and grabbed her.
