He soon passed out, but I didn’t let up. I held on until the pulse point on his neck was no longer beating. Until I felt his body take its last breath.
I rolled off of him and fell onto my back, taking deep breaths to slow down the adrenaline rush.
The darkness had won, and I realized my mother was right;I was just like my father.
Getting to my feet, I searched his body and found a few knives and two guns. I shoved the knives into the waistband of my shorts and one gun in the back. Holding the other one, I headed out into the hallway.
It was dark and I couldn’t hear anybody around. Slowing my steps, I stopped at a corner and looked around. Nobody was here…
As I walked across the broken glass and mirrors, I could hear noise coming from the other side of the wall.
I rushed back around the corner and waited as I heard two men coming into the hallway. I picked up a piece of mirror and tried to aim it toward them without them seeing.
That evil darkness came out of me as I crouched down, waiting for them to come around the corner.
The darkness was excited to play again. Aroused at the fact that we were going to kill again. Eager to shed the blood of weaker men. Getting my head in the game, I crouched lower, making myself as small as possible.
The first man didn’t see me in the shadows as he laughed and made his way toward the room they were keeping me.
I waited a few seconds before quietly sneaking up on the other man. I took one of the knives out and inched forward.
I quickly wrapped my arm around his head, covering his mouth as I took him down to the ground.
Not thinking twice, I stabbed him in the neck and watched him tumble to the ground. He looked up with fear in his eyes, and I fucking loved it. This sick, twisted side of me was just like my Papa.
I wasn’t a sweet little girl like my mother had always wanted. I was exactly like my father’s side; ruthless and cold.
I smiled as I bent down to finish the job. The man gurgled, trying to scream as I stabbed him over and over. Blood spurted all over me, but I didn’t care. I reveled in it, craving the metallic smell of another man’s blood.
I truly was the princess of one of the most dangerous men in the drug cartel world.
Looking down, I saw he was no longer breathing. Patting him down, I found more guns and a shitload of cash. I grabbed it all before getting ready to handle the next man.
My Papa sure as fuck didn’t raise no bitch. He groomed and prepare me for the ruthless world we lived in.
As I snuck around the hallway, I heard the man yelling. He came barreling out of the room and froze when he saw me standing there with the gun.
“Did you really think this would end well? You knew who I was.”
He shook his head as I edged toward him.
“I had nothing to do with this! I don’t call the shots!”
I threw my head back and laughed. I was already so broken that nothing phased me any longer.
“You made the wrong choice.”
I pulled the trigger and watched as blood and brain matter went flying against the wall. Smiling, I walked out the door. It was night, so I could sneak through the alleys back to my home under the cover of darkness.
As I reached my street, I could hear the music coming from the house.
They were having a fucking party while I was gone…
I stormed up the front steps and threw the door open. Everybody stopped and stared at me as I walked through the house.
I could only imagine what they saw right now as I stormed into the bathroom. I turned the shower on when the bathroom door flew open.
My boyfriend, Javier, stood in the doorway. He had an angry look on his face, but I wasn’t here to fucking play.
