“I’ll follow you there?”

I winked as I headed toward my bike.

“Sounds good, babe. Then you won’t have to watch me through your rearview mirror.”

Lily blushed and got into her while I just laughed and got on my bike. I revved the engine and looked back to see her laughing in her car.

Taking off down the street, we made our way to the clubhouse. As I got closer, the prospect opened the gates and let us in.

Lily parked her car, and we walked in together, heading right up the steps to Striker’s office. Knocking once, I opened the door.

Striker sat behind his desk with his feet up on the edge. He looked up and smiled as we sat down.

“What did you two get into?”

We laughed and Lily leaned back a bit, her leg touching mine and spending sparks through my body.

I cleared my throat. “Lily needs to find a home.”

“What happened with the cottage?”

She sighed. “Because Moose was there, the agent is refusing to rent it to me. I guess you guys are criminals in his eyes.”

Striker growled. “Fuck, I’m so sorry. That’s not fair.”

Hawk popped his head into the office. “Sorry to pop in, but I heard what happened. Who was the agent?”

Lily turned to look at him. “Harold Rivers.”

Hawk shook his head. “That fucking prick. Sorry, babe. He’s one of Eckhart’s guys, so he has it out for us. That’s my fault.”

Striker tapped the desk. “They never liked us. But anyway, don’t worry. We’ll find you a place even if we have to fucking build it. You’re more than welcome to come stay with Lilah and I. Or even in the clubhouse.”

Lily smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

“Thank you all so much. We’ll figure it out. I’m fine at the hotel for a little bit longer. But I need to get to the office. I have an appointment. Thanks for breakfast, Moose.”

She left and Hawk took her seat, then turned to me with a shit-eating grin on his face.

“So breakfast, huh?”

I shook my head as Striker laughed.

“It’s not like that. I went with her to the cottage this morning after Tessa’s shit. Lily was upset, so I took her to eat. I also may have caused her some nightmares after bringing up her past…”

Striker ran his hand over his face. “Fuck, man.”

“I know, Pres. She was fucking upset so I have to make it up somehow.”

Hawk just laughed. “Welcome to the world of fucking women. Ya know... breakfast was how it all started with my woman.”

I shook my head, but smiled. “Goodbye, Hawk.”

He got up but paused in the doorway. “First it was breakfast, then it was her on her fucking knees.”

I turned and went to hit him, but he ran too fast down the hall, laughing the whole time. I sat back down to see Striker was laughing, too. A grin spread across my face. Despite Hawk’s past, he treated Sav like fucking gold.

“She’s one hell of a woman, Moose.”
