I shrugged. “It’s going. She’s an amazing fucking lawyer.”
His eyebrow raised. “You fuck her yet?”
Sav gasped and smacked him in the chest, making him spit his beer out. He just laughed as Sav glared at him.
He raised his hands in the air. “What? The fucking sexual tension is there. Can’t deny it.” He turned back to me and winked. “Dude. Just hate fuck her. Get it outta your system.”
Savannah shook her head. “Hawk.. enough.”
He laughed and nuzzled into the crook of her neck.
“Come on, baby. You love it. Last night after that fight…”
Sav pushed him away, but I could see the smile on her face.
“Stop talking about the dirty things you did to my baby girl. Anyway, I will not touch Lily. First and foremost, she’s my fucking lawyer. Second, vanilla uptight bitches aren’t my type.”
The kids came running over, ending all conversations about sex and Lily.
And now all I could think about was Lily’s tight body writhing underneath me…
A tug on my arm brought me back to reality. Nova was standing next to me with a huge grin.
“Daddy! Savvy brought cupcakes! Can I have one?”
I kneeled down and pulled her into a hug.
“Of course, baby girl. After lunch.”
Nova pouted, but the moment I tickled her, that beautiful smile lit up her face.
Sav scooped her up and took Maddox’s hand in hers.
“Let’s go set up so we can eat super fast and then eat all the cupcakes!”
The three of them ran inside, and I couldn’t help but smile. My family was fucking beautiful and so perfect.
Hawk tapped his beer bottle on the grill.
“We gotta talk about Tessa.”
I sighed as I flipped the burgers on the grill.
“I know. I don’t fucking want to, but it’s gotta happen.”
“Why don’t we bring it to Striker? Maybe he’ll have some ideas. It’s always good to have a fresh set of eyes. I just don’t want anything to happen.”
I nodded in agreement. “Maybe have the prospect follow her for a bit. She’s up to something. Tess went to Lily’s office and threatened her.”
I growled at the memory. It made me so fucking mad to think Tessa would do that. I may not be Lily’s biggest fan, but she didn’t deserve that.
Hawk stared out across the lawn. “That’s fucked up, man.”
“Is she still at the hotel?”
He nodded. “Yeah, but Sav is looking for places. That old cottage is for rent and they’re gonna check it out next week.”
“Good. Have somebody with them and let’s have some guys driving by the hotel.”
