“What are you doing, princess?”
The tension in the bathroom was so thick I could barely get my words out.
“I’m on a date with Bobby. Having a great time.”
Moose just shook his head as he moved toward me. He caged me against the wall with his tattooed arms and gazed down at me.
“Is that why you can’t keep your eyes off of me? Were you imagining me while you shook your ass against Bobby?”
I shook my head, but he didn’t stop.
“Was it me you imagined when he pulled you between his legs? My hands all over your body?”
He leaned down and bit my earlobe before whispering. “I’ll break you, princess.”
Goosebumps spread across my body, and before I knew it, Moose was gone and I was alone in the bathroom.
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
I turned and leaned over the sink, trying to get myself together before going back out there. Moose shook me to my core, and it scared the shit out of me.
I hadn’t had feelings like this in a very long time, and I worked damn hard to keep them locked up. I wouldn’t make those same mistakes…
Taking a final deep breath, I exited the bathroom and found Bobby. He turned and looked at me, then grabbed my arm.
“Are you okay? You look so pale!”
“Oh, I’m okay. My stomach just started to hurt. Maybe we can head out?”
Bobby nodded as he paid his tab. Astrid leaned over and gently grabbed my arm.
“You good, girl?”
I nodded, “Yeah. Heading home. Text me?”
She winked and headed back to bar tending. Bobby took my hand in his and led me back out to his car.
Bobby gently helped me in and drove back to the hotel. Despite his comments from before, Bobby was being the perfect gentleman right now.
Pulling into the hotel parking lot, he rushed over and helped me out of the car and up to my room. I unlocked the door, and he led me to my bed, turning around to the small kitchenette.
“You sit. I’ll make you some tea.”
“Oh no, that’s okay!”
Bobby turned on the coffee machine and heated the water. He grabbed one of the tea packets on the counter and threw it in the mug.
“Bobby, it’s really-”
He put his hand up and turned to me.
“Let me take care of you, Lily.”
I sighed and stood up from the bed. Bobby rushed over and handed me the cup.
“Thank you, Bobby. I’m gonna get some sleep now, okay?”
“I’ll stay with you tonight.”
