Maddox grabbed a flat box from the table and handed it to me. He took Nova’s hand in his as they both watched me open the gift.

I tossed the wrapping paper on the ground and lifted the top of the box. Inside there was a manila folder. Opening it up, tears sprung from my eyes as I read over the paperwork. I looked up at Maddox and Nova as I wiped the tears away.

“You want me to adopt you? You want me to be your mom?”

Maddox nodded. “We want you. You are the best thing to ever happen to us. Will you be our mom, Lily?”

I tossed the paperwork aside and pulled them both into me. Nova cried, and I even saw some tears from Maddox.

“I would love to be your mom. This…. oh god this is the best gift I’ve ever received. I love you two more than anything.”

Moose kneeled down and pulled all three of us into a hug.

“This was all their idea. I had our old club lawyer write up all the paperwork. All you have to do is sign.”

“Get me a pen!”

We all chuckled as Moose held us even tighter.

“You complete us, princess.”

“And you complete me, babe.”

Savannah and Hawk came over with a cake. “Happy birthday!”

I smiled as she placed the cake down and pulled me into a hug.

“Welcome to this crazy family. Should I call you mom too?”

I laughed as Hawk winked at me.

“Get out of here with that bullshit.”

Sav laughed with me as I looked around the room.

“Thank you so much everybody for coming out. This is... this is just beautiful. I am so lucky to have all of you in my life.”

Moose leaned down and kissed me as everybody around us cheered. I could feel the blush spreading across my cheeks, but I didn’t care. I loved this man with everything I had.

Somebody turned on music, and everybody mingled. Moose walked over to the bar to grab drinks as the Old Ladies sat down around me.

Lilah, Willow, Bambi, and Sav were my beautiful tribe of women I could lean on for anything. Being an Old Lady to one of these men wasn’t easy, but I had these amazing women who were there with me.

Bambi nudged me with her elbow. “Look at little miss I don’t need a man…”

We all looked over to see Delphina and Joker flirting at one of the pool tables.

Bambi laughed. “They are so gonna do it tonight.”

Sav playfully slapped her arm. “Jeez, woman! Just cause they’re flirting doesn’t mean they have to get in bed together.”

Olivia sat down at our little table and laughed.

“Listen. If Joker said let me bend you over this table right now, I would do it. Delphina is totally gonna get some Joker dick tonight.”

Willow made a gagging noise as I laughed.

“Delphina will break that poor man’s heart. He better be prepared. She always leaves a wake of destruction in her path.”
