“I’ve got some shit to handle. So back the fuck off.”
Maverick came over and pushed through the three of us. “Alright, let’s not do this shit tonight. Axe, walk it off. Think before you fucking speak.”
Axe pushed past us and stormed upstairs. I shook my head and turned to my brothers.
“I’m fucking worried about him. He’s been broody and off lately.”
Goose laughed. “That’s cause Olivia won’t fuck him.”
Mav shook his head. “She’s been through some shit. He needs to stay away from her.”
Hawk nodded. “Sav said she’s in therapy but still wants to be part of their friend group. So it must be Axe.”
I just shrugged. “Whatever. I’m gonna take my Old Lady home, gossip queens. See you fuckers later.”
I moved through the crowd and found Lily laughing at the bar with Sav and Wildcat. I moved behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
“Ready to go home, princess?”
She turned and looked up at me. “Always ready to go home with you, Moose.”
I leaned down and kissed her. “Let’s round up the kids and get moving then, baby.”
Taking her hand in mine, we said our goodbyes and grabbed Nova and Maddox and headed home.
We pulled into the driveway and headed inside the house. The kids went right up the stairs and we followed behind them. Lily read them a chapter from one of their books before I tucked them in. We both kissed them goodnight before I headed to hop in the shower real quick.
I showered off quickly and stepped back into the bedroom to find Lily wasn’t in bed. I got dressed and walked downstairs to find her sitting on the kitchen counter with a wineglass in her hand.
“Hey, princess. Everything okay?”
She looked up and grinned at me. “Yeah. Just looking at my future.”
I walked toward her and leaned against the kitchen island opposite her.
“Oh yeah? Wanna let me in on that vision?”
Lily laughed. “It’s you, silly. You and Nova and Maddox. The club, my new friends. Even Javier and Tia Rosa.”
I stood up and moved to Lily. She opened her legs, and I stepped between them.
“Good things come to good people, baby.”
Lily leaned down and softly kissed me. “I’m so thankful for you, Jacob. So fucking thankful you didn’t stop pushing my buttons.”
I threw my head back and laughed. “I couldn’t imagine it any other way, princess.” She sighed, and I tipped her head up. “What’s wrong?”
“I just can’t stop thinking about that girl, Parker. Everything is going so good right now, but she’s just at the back of my mind.”
I kissed along her jaw while I ran my hands up her thighs. “She’s gonna be just fine. You know why?”
She shook her head. “Why?”
“Because she’s got you. I know you won’t stop until you save her. You are so fucking amazing, Lily.”
I nipped at her earlobe, and she let out a throaty moan.
“And I’m so fucking lucky to have you. I get to have you all to myself until the day I fucking die, princess.”
