He wrapped both arms around me and embraced me in a tight hug.

“I’ll do anything for you, baby girl.”

Javier and Moose shook hands, then Moose laughed and pulled him into one of those manly hugs.

“Thanks for everything, man. Come on up anytime.”

“We’ll hook up for the security shit soon. Have a safe flight.” Javier kneeled down, and both kids jumped into his arms. “You two be good, okay? I’ll come and visit you little homies soon.”

We all hugged one last time before heading through the security and boarded the plane. As the plane took off, the kids slowly fell asleep.

I leaned my head on Moose’s shoulder. “I’m glad to be going home.”

“Me too, princess.”

We sat in silence for a bit before Moose looked down at me.

“Can I ask you something?”

I nodded. “Of course. What’s up?”

“Do you still love Javier? Do you miss that life?”

Shaking my head, I turned to him. “It’s really complicated. A part of me will always love Javier. But he doesn’t have my heart like you do.”

Moose nodded. “Good, baby.”

I laughed a bit. “You’re it for me, Jacob. Javier and I have a past and we share some of those dark secrets of that life, but it’s nothing like the connection I have with you. You and the kids are all I need.”

“I love you, Lily.” He leaned down and softly kissed me. “Why don’t you get some rest. You’ve barely slept.”

I nodded my head and closed my eyes, thrilled to be on our way back home, safe with Maddox and Nova.

Moosegentlywokemeas the plane landed.

“We’re home, princess.”

I turned and woke Nova and Maddox just as the plane pulled to a stop. They both rubbed their eyes as Moose and I stood and grabbed our bags.

We all walked off the plane onto the small private runway, just to be greeted by the entire club. They were all waiting with big smiles on their faces.

Lilah stood right up front with Striker, their brand new baby in her arms. Savannah pushed through the men and flew right into Moose and I’s arms. She quickly turned and grabbed both Maddox and Nova into her arms.

“I was so worried! Thank god you’re home!”

Bambi came over next with the twins, pulling me into her arms.

“You okay?”

I nodded and looked up at Moose. “Yeah. We’re good and happy to be home.”

Striker patted him on the back as we moved toward the small crowd, everybody telling us how happy they were to have us home and safe.

Beckett was standing next to an SUV, waiting to drive us back to the clubhouse. He smiled as Maddox and Nova went running to him.

“Hey, kiddos!”

Maddox pulled back and smiled. “Are you okay?”
