“Please go, Luna.”

Luna stood and shook her head.

“Don’t hurt all alone. Let us help. Call me when you’re ready to ask for help.”

She walked out the door, and I collapsed on the couch in tears again.

I just wish I could go back in time and never meet Hawk…

Chapter Eighteen

Iwasjustfinishingthe shitty breakfast the officer had given me when Lily came walking down to my cell.

“Let’s go. Striker put up your bail but you have to go straight to the clubhouse and stay out of trouble.”

The officer unlocked my cell, and I walked out with Lily. The sun was already beating down on the pavement as we walked toward her sleek black car.

“You drive a fucking Porsche 911 Turbo?”

She shrugged. “Yeah. I like fast cars. Got a problem with it?”

I shook my head. “Nope. I think it’s fucking cool.”

Lily laughed as we got into the car. She started the car and drove toward the clubhouse.

“Now listen, you need to lie low for a while. Like don’t leave the clubhouse for anything at all. Got it?”

I nodded as we neared the gates. The Prospect opened them and Lily drove in, parking next to the other bikes.

I didn’t even wait for her as I rushed inside the clubhouse, not wanting to wait another minute without having Savannah in my arms.

Throwing open the door, I was surprised to find the main room relatively empty. I ran up the stairs and into my bedroom to find it exactly how I had left it yesterday.

As I came back down the steps, Lily and Striker were standing by the bar.

“Where’s Savannah? Where the fuck is my Old Lady?”

Luna came out from behind the bar and glared at me.

“She’s at home crying her eyes out. You fucked up, Hawk.”

I turned to her. “What the fuck do you mean? How did I fuck up? I tried to get her ex to leave her the fuck alone!”

“Ahh, but we all saw the pictures of you with the other women. Just couldn’t let go of your playboy lifestyle, huh?”

Luna came around the bar and moved toward me.

“What women? I was with Sav the entire time! I never cheated!”

Lily sighed and whispered something to Striker before leaving. I turned to Luna, who was in my face at this point.

“What about your past? Why the fuck wouldn’t you tell her?”

“It’s complicated. I didn’t want to scare her off!”

Luna sarcastically laughed. “Well, that’s too fucking late. She wants nothing to do with you. I believe that there’s more to the story, but you should have fucking told her! You know her past.”

I just stood stunned as I shook my head. Luna cocked her arm back and before I knew what was happening, she punched me square in the jaw.
