“Yeah. Hawk went a little caveman. But I trust him so I wasn’t worried.”

“Caveman, huh? Like in a yummy way?”

I softly chuckled. “Yeah, in a very yummy way.”

“Ooh, girl, get it! That’s the best sex ever, huh? I like to piss Goose off so he goes all caveman, spanks me, and fucks me like it’s his last day on earth.”

“Nope. Ew. Too much information. I can’t hear this about my boss. I’m just gonna go now.”

I could hear Bambi cracking up on the phone. “No! No! Before you go, I just wanted to say that I’m thrilled for you, girl.”

“Thanks. I’m really happy too.”

As I hung the phone up, a pair of rough hands wrapped around my waist and lips landed on the crook of my neck.

“Fuck, baby. You can’t wake up looking this good and not expect me not to touch.”

I smiled as I turned around and Hawk kissed me. He slowly guided me toward the bed while removing the sheet from my hands.

“Let me just worship this body, Sav. Let me just love you.”

My heart skipped a beat at his words as he laid me on the bed and slowly kissed all of my body.

A knock on the door made Hawk jump and stand in front of me, blocking anybody from my view.

He grabbed the sheet and wrapped it around me, then threw another blanket on top of that. I laughed as he stalked toward the door and only slightly opened it.

“What the fuck do you want?”

“Was just checkin’ in on my girl, brother. Chill the fuck out.”

I got up and playfully pushed Hawk out of the way to see Moose standing on the other side of the door.

Hawk’s hands wrapped around me and pulled me behind him.

“See. She’s alive and well now, leave us alone.”

Moose grumbled as he glared at Hawk.

“Why is she wrapped in blankets? Where are her clothes?!”

I threw my head back and laughed at Moose and Hawk’s tizzy.

“Moose, I’m a grown woman. I think you know the answers to your questions.”

He groaned and playfully pounded his head against the wall.

“Doesn’t matter. That’s like Nova telling me she’s having... ugh, I can’t even say it! Haven’t you realized you’re my adopted daughter, Sav? Now put some clothes on and get out here so we can have the talk.”

I laughed even more as I snuggled my way under Hawk’s arm.

“I think it’s a little too late for that. I mean, I figured the sheets would be a good indicator…”

Hawk started laughing as well as we watched Moose’s face turn sour.

“Nope. Not fucking going there. I already read you the riot act, Wyatt. Just no babies yet. I’m not old enough to be a grandpa, fuck!”

I moved out from behind Hawk and wrapped my arms around Moose.
