I frowned, not knowing who it was. Bambi and Savannah hadn’t mentioned any new women coming. I watched as the car slowly made its way up the gravel drive.

Leaving my bike in a nearby bush, I followed the car on foot so they wouldn’t hear or see me. I quickly sent a text to Moose in case things went sideways.

The car stopped in front of the house and then kept going around the circle driveway. As they turned, I could clearly see through the windows from my spot behind a bush.

Lloyd and Eckhart were sitting right in the back while they had somebody else drive them. I growled and ran back toward my motorcycle.

There was no way in fucking hell I would have my woman or any of those other women in danger. Eckhart and Lloyd were messing with the wrong fucking people.

I quickly got to the Clubhouse and ran inside. Striker was sitting in his office when I barged in.

“Ever heard of knocking, fucker?”

I leaned on the desk, trying to catch my breath.

“Lloyd and Eckhart just drove by Hope Hearted. We need to call Church and get this under fucking control.”

Striker frowned. “Give everybody an hour. I’ll shoot a text out, tell the guys downstairs.”

I nodded and ran back out, calling Savannah on the way down. It rang three times, but felt like a fucking lifetime.

“Hey, Hawk! What’s going on?”

“Just wanted to make sure you were okay. I was kind of missing you. Can I come over for dinner tonight?”

Her angelic laugh echoed on the other end. “Of course, weirdo. You don’t have to ask. I’m making a taco bar, so get here as fast as you can.”

“Alright, pretty girl. I will. See you later.”

I hung up the phone and walked around, letting most of the brothers here know we had Church in an hour.

After what felt like forever, we were all seated around the large wooden table with our insignia burned in.

Striker banged the gavel and pointed toward me. “Hawk has some info he needs to share.”

I stood and looked at everybody. “Lloyd and Eckhart are back. I caught them driving right past Hope Hearted.”

Moose slammed his fists on the table. “I’m going to kill those worthless motherfucking pieces of shit.”

I nodded and turned to Striker. “I think we should increase patrols around Hope Hearted and the diner. Just to be safe.”

Goose cleared his throat. “I agree. My Old Lady and baby girls are going to be at Hope Hearted more and I don’t want them getting hurt. I almost lost Bambi once…”

“I agree. I don’t want that. Look, I think Lloyd is up to something. He isn’t going to just let Sav go with nothing. Plus, she’s standing up to him in court and making a statement.”

Moose nodded. “And he’s threatening all of us because she left him.”

Striker played with the gavel before eyeing me. “I’m all for it because that’s our responsibility. Those are our properties. But Savannah…”

Moose growled and stood. Striker put his hand up to him without ever taking his eyes off me.

“Are you claiming her as your Old Lady? Does she mean something to you, Hawk?”

My heart thumped a little faster as I stared down at Striker. “Yeah, Pres. I fucking am. Sav is my Old Lady and I want her under club protection. She means something to me and I’m not gonna let her fucking get hurt again.”

Striker smiled as he slammed the gavel down. “About fucking time, my man. I would have protected her anyway, just wanted to hear you say Savannah is the one for you.”

Everybody laughed and cheered as I sat down. I shook my head and smiled at Striker from across the table.
