“Nothing much, baby. How do the kids like the house?”

“They love it! I’m so happy right now. My heart just feels so full.”

Moose grabbed Sav’s hand and pulled her into an enormous hug.

“I don’t even know what to say. You think your heart is full? You should see mine. It’s bursting at the seams right now.”

“I just wanted to help. You are the only family I have, other than the club.”

Moose just looked down at her. “And you’re sure you don’t want to live here?”

“Nope. I love our cozy apartment. Hawk and I are great at where we are right now. And you also can’t live in the clubhouse with the kids. That’s not okay. If your ex is really coming after you, you need to do everything in your power to prove you’re better.”

I nodded in agreement. “And the club has your back. This place is already wired with our security system. It’s close to the clubhouse, safe, with enough room to grow. It’s everything you need and more.”

Moose pulled us both into a hug while the kids played in the backyard.

“I’m so lucky to have you two. Now let’s go make some dinner in my brand new fucking house!”

Moose called the kids, and we all headed inside. I pulled Sav aside before we headed into the kitchen.

“I’m so proud of you, baby. This was amazing and so selfless. You amaze me every fucking day.”

Sav stood on her tippy toes and softly kissed me.

“I love you.”

“And I love you, Savannah.”

The End

Epilogue

Afewmonthshadpassed, and things were falling into a nice little pattern. I worked during the day, then headed over to Hope Hearted at night to cook dinner and chat with the women there.

Lily was right. They all looked up to me as I was able to leave my abusive relationship. While I showed the women how to cook, I would chat with them about what I went through and how this place helped me.

Moose had stepped back from a lot of the diner business in order to deal with his ex. She was showing up at random places and screaming at anybody who would listen. Gracie had already kicked her out multiple times. Luna had now started hanging around so she could fight Moose’s ex, which led to Rooster hanging around more often. He claimed it was for ‘protection’ but we all knew he had a massive crush on Luna but was too chicken to act on it.

Moose and Lily were still at odds, but they were slowly coming together to fight for the kids. Despite their differences, I could tell there was a small spark there.Maybe they just needed a little push...

One of their brother’s, Viper, ended up being quite the coffee snob. He was helping me bring some fresh changes to the diner and add a cute little cafe off of it. It would only be open in the morning, but Viper said he would help me with it all.

I was also working on a plan to bring more food to the diner. I really wanted to turn it into more of a sit-down restaurant. Gracie was currently helping me hire more staff so we could be open twenty-four seven. This place attracted a lot of late night truckers and I could see how that could make us more money.

Today, Gracie and I were working on pushing the new mini pies when Viper came walking in. He winked, and Gracie giggled like a schoolgirl.

He walked over to a booth and sat down with Rooster. I sighed and elbowed Gracie.

“Better be careful or he’ll scoop you right up. These men don’t play around.”

“Oh shush, you. A little flirting doesn’t hurt. And I’m back with my dipshit boyfriend.”

I laughed as I carefully placed the mini pies on the new display.

“So dump his ass and get yourself an alpha biker man.”

Gracie just shook her head as she moved around the counter.
