Leaning up, I softly whisper in his ear. “I love you more than anything, Sawyer Crawford. You are my beginning, middle, and end.”
“And I love you, Bambi Crawford. Till the end of my days, you will forever be mine.”
We dance all night, enjoying the beautiful fall night surrounded by the love of everybody.
Mama Crawford stops us while we’re dancing next to Lilah and Striker, pulling us all into a hug.
“I’m just so happy for all my babies. Levi, where is your father? I’ve been looking for him all night.”
Striker growls and Lilah puts her hand on his chest. “He’s still on the outs, Mama. Things...well let’s just say talks aren’t going that well. But let’s not talk about that tonight. I don’t want to ruin Bambi and Goose’s beautiful night.”
I smile and turn to Mama Crawford. “It’s okay. We have a long way to go with Bear, but I’m sure everything will work out.”
Goose kisses me on the head and whispers, “You’re so fucking amazing, angel.
Mama Crawford smiles, “Very well. I’ll let you get back to dancing. Love you all!”
We all turn back to dancing and having a great time as the night goes on. Eventually it gets late and the guests with kids start to bring them home.
As the kids head out, Goose and I make our rounds to say goodbye and head back down to our home.
Hand in hand, we walk under the stars that shine our path to our house. Goose picks me up and carries me in and up the stairs.
Laying me on the bed, he strips down and carefully removes my dress.
“Here’s to forever, Mrs. Crawford.”
“Until the end of time, my love.”
