Page 11 of Maverick

We made our way into the hall and walked toward the back. Maverick stopped in front of a red door and put the key in.

As we were stepping into the room, Bambi came running down the hall, hands waving in the air. “Wait! Wait, Mav! Shit, sorry guys!”

Maverick stood in the doorway, looking annoyed as all hell. “Spit it the fuck out, Bambi. The poor girl needs to get some rest.”

Bambi stood with her hands on her hips, “Don’t get snippy with me grumpy pants. I hate to do this, but that room is taken. ALL the rooms are taken. The ones that aren’t can’t be filled in case a visiting club comes. I’m really sorry Willow. I promise I am working as hard as I can to find you a place to stay.”

I put my hand on Bambi’s arm and smiled, “It’s okay. I have a generator and can stay in my van at night like I normally do. Just as long as I can come here to use the bathroom!”

Maverick growled and put his rough finger under my chin, tilting my face up toward his. “You are not staying in that van while under my watch. Wrench is working on it and I cannot let you stay in it and potentially get hurt.”

“I mean we can let you stay in one of the other rooms, but if a visiting brother comes you gotta get out.” Bambi was starting to pace back and forth in the hallway.

Maverick ran his hand through his hair then placed it on his hip. “Fuck. You can stay with me. I have plenty of room and I’m not far from here.”

I squinted my eyes at him, “Like more than one bedroom? Because I am not sharing a room with you.”

He just laughed as he picked up my bag and closed the door. “I have plenty of bedrooms for you to choose from, and that includes mine, firecracker.”

“Whew! Okay, love birds. Glad you got it all figured out. Get outta here and have some fun! I’ll see you in the morning, Willow.” Bambi winked at me as she sashayed down the hallway.

I turned to Maverick to see him smirking, “You’re an ass. I want the bedroom furthest away from yours, thank you very much.”

He put his hand on my back and led me down the stairs and out the door to a big, black truck. “So you’re gonna have to stop by my Mama’s house with me. She called and is putting together a small dinner for just family. I know it’s been a long day, but you don’t say no to Mama.”

“Um...okay I guess.”

Maverick laughed as he opened the truck door for me.

“Don’t worry, there will be plenty of food and Mama loves company. And if she finds out I just dropped you off at home she’ll whoop my ass.”

I climbed in the truck with a nervous laugh. Maverick opened the tailgate and let Orion hop in the bed of the truck before coming around and getting in the driver's seat.

Maverick turned the truck on and drove out the large gates of the clubhouse and onto the road. We cruised down a dirt road when he started fidgeting with the radio.

I glanced at him as he smiled and turned up the radio to some twangy country song. “Dude, no way I am listening to that. Put something else on for the love of God.”

Maverick just laughed as he turned it back up. “That right there is the man in black; Johnny Cash. Song is called, ‘Jackson’ and he sang it with his woman, June Carter Cash. Don’t ever turn the radio down when he’s on, baby girl.”

I laughed as he leaned his arm on the open window and sang along with the song. Maverick had a beautiful voice that sounded similar to the guy singing; deep, rich, and sexy. I sat back and watched him bellow out the song, laughing as he changed his voice to match the woman singing.

“You gotta learn that part, babe. Can’t be singing this all by my lonesome.” He winked at me and kept singing.

I just laughed and enjoyed his voice as we drove up to the ranch.

We drove up to the big house where the birthday party had taken place and parked next to a matte, black, motorcycle. Maverick got out first, let Orion out, then went over to open my door.

“Very gentleman-like.” I couldn’t help but giggle.

Maverick pulled me in close to him and bent down. His mouth came down next to my ear as he whispered, “I can be a gentleman, babe. But I can only be a gentleman for so long once I get you alone. You can try to fight the attraction, but I know how much I turn you on.”

Goosebumps spread down my arms and I could feel a tingle spread all over my body. I put my hand on his chest and sweetly looked up at him, “Oh,Maverick. You may think I want you, but that doesn’t mean I need you.”

I slowly ran my hand down his chest, over those perfect abs, and down to his growing bulge. As I scraped my nails against his growing cock, he pushed me up against the side of the truck.

He grabbed my hips and kissed his way down my neck. “Baby girl, don’t start a game you can’t afford to finish.”

I quickly slipped up from underneath him and started toward the porch, turning to look at him while he adjusted himself. “Don’t play games that you have no intention of playing in the first place, biker boy.”
