“You wanted Ethan Masters. You have him. Give me Cady.”

“I want the fucking recipe,” he snarled at me. “Get me the recipe, and you’ll get your precious kitten. Until then, I will continue to keep her safe.”

“I want to see her,” I said softly, knowing there was no way out of this shit. As much as I wanted to kill my father, there was no way we’d make it out of here. There were no less then ten men outside in the hall with rifles waiting to kill my ass if I tried. Those were Everett’s orders and his men, so until the day I took his wicked ass from the world, I’d have only my guys at my back and the very few loyal men I’d found from the Underground, like Shadow and Asylum.

“OK. I can arrange that if you agree to continue.”

I released the bitch I was holding and put my knife away. She stumbled away and went right back to my father, tears on her cheeks.

Fake ass bitch.

My father approached, and I stiffened as he stared me down, entirely too close for comfort.

“Do you agree to get me the recipe?” he asked, reaching out and rubbing my cock through my pants. “Or do I need to keep you here so you can be Daddy’s very good boy? I can make you obey, Dante. You know I can.”

Nausea roiled through my guts as he rubbed me.

It took every fucking ounce of willpower I had not to gut him on the spot. Humiliation raced through me, knowing the guys were watching my father touch me.

“Show me Cady, and I will get the recipe,” I said, my words laced with violence. The moment I was able to, I was going to punish this motherfucker. I had years of pent-up rage itching to get out.

“Done.” He reached out and cradled my face. “Always such a good boy. My pride and joy.” He backed away from me and hit another button on his desk. The door opened, and he gestured for us to step out with him.

I followed at his side, him biding his new bitch goodbye, my guys behind us with my father’s men following, guns in hand.

We made it to the level where Sirena and Cady’s father was kept. Everett nodded, and the guards opened the door. I waited for a moment before Cady was pulled out. The moment she saw me, she rushed forward and into my arms.

“Are you OK?” I asked, holding her.

She nodded, sniffling. “I want to go home.”

“You will. We’re working on it. Be brave, OK? Sirena and my nephew are counting on it. Promise me, Claws. You’re strong. You’re going to be OK.” I tilted her chin up and studied her. She looked fine, except that she was crying. So far, my father had kept his word.

“I’ll come back for you and your dad, OK?” I whispered in her ear. “Just hold on for us.”

She nodded, and the guards yanked her away before locking her back inside the room with her father.

“See? I haven’t touched a hair on her pretty little head, and I won’t as long as you comply,” Father said, smiling at me like I should be proud of his fucked-up ass.

I nodded. “I’ll get the recipe. The moment I have it, I want her back. Unharmed.”

“Agreed. However, it’ll be about a week before I need you back here. I’ll call when I’m ready for you.”

“Why?” I demanded. “I’ll go get it right fucking now?—”

“I want some time to play,” he said, smiling wickedly at me.

I swallowed hard, knowing exactly what he was going to do to poor Ethan Masters. But it wasn’t my problem. Not really.

“Fine. One week.”

He inclined his head at me. “Good. Go take care of that beautiful girl of yours. Watch her carefully. Lots of monsters out there.”

He walked past me, whistling, his guards at his back.

“Motherfucker,” I snarled.

“Church, let’s go,” Sin said. “We can fight another day. There isn’t anything we can do now but go home and hold Sirena.”
