“No, Ishouldgo home now.” It’s a plea. Robert doesn’t want him. What Dominant says no to a willing submissive? He’s so ashamed and devastated that he can’t even look at Robert.
He’s fucked it all up.
Logan always fucks it up. He needs to leave but that’s beyond him.
“Why do I have to deal with any of this? Maybe I should be with Daniel.”
“Daniel? Who is he?”
“My brother. Maybe it’s my turn now,” he says, and laughs bitterly.
“No. Enough,” Robert snaps, and it’s like Logan’s been struck by lightning, there’s so much power rolling over him.
Logan stumbles backward.
Robert moves between Logan and the door. “Fuck, don’t make me put hands on you. Come on, honey. You’re not well. I wouldn’t let any submissive out of here in the state you’re in. You’ve got two choices, Logan. Me or medical.”
“I can’t go to medical. No one can know how bad I am. My dad will find out and he’ll put me away.”
“He won’t. The military has very strict privacy laws—”
“My father is in the military. He knows exactly how I’m doing.”
Robert shakes his head and swears, “Shit. Do you want to crash or do you want me to help?”
“I can… Ialwayscrash. Just help me get home and I’ll deal with it.”
The look on Robert’s face is best described as anguished. “I hate that idea, sweetheart. Sorry, I can’t do that, after all. You’re going to have to trust me to help you,” he says, moving closer.
“I don’t want to do the wrong thing. You’re all I have,” Logan confesses, and wipes away the tears on his cheeks. He doesn’t know why he’s crying. It doesn’t make any sense.
“You won’t do the wrong thing. I won’t let you,” he says, and Logan shivers, sways, and has to step closer.
Robert has the best voice. “Promise?”
“I promise. How can you do it wrong, baby? I’m the Dominant. I decide. And I’ll be so happy with you, Logan. You can please me, I promise. I’ll make sure you do it right.”
Logan whimpers, reaching out for his Dominant, wanting to give in. “I’ll do anything you want.”
“Easy, sweetheart. Easy. Breathe. Can you do that for me?”
Why? He’d ask but his heart is pounding in his ears and he can’t decide if he feels good or bad.
“Logan. You’re panicking. You’ve got too much stress and toxins coursing through your body. You’re in a drop. But you’re safe here with me.”
“I don’t know how to submit. Can’t.”
“Yes, you do. This is gonna be easy. Because it’smeand I’m going to take care of you.”
“Oh, I…”
“You’re safe. I’m here. Will you go down for me, sweetheart?”
“He’s going to hurt me,” Logan confesses, and that feels good, saying the problem, offering it to Robert.
“No one is going to hurt you. Come on. Just lie down. That’s all,” he says, and that hits hard. Compulsion.
“You’re not holding back?” Logan asks, because Robert’s dominance feels different. Heavy. Oppressive. Logan sits down on the couch. He’s dizzy with how good Robert’s dominance feels washing over him. A hundred-pound blanket forcing him down.
